I've been taking Myo-inositol for less than a week and for the first time in over a decade, my period isn't irregular. I can't remember the last time I had a 28 day cycle!
I took Myo-inositol about 5 years ago and it didn't work at all, so it hadn't even cross my mind to try it again until I'd read about its success in reducing gestational diabetes during pregnancy (we are due to start IVF next month).
For background - I was diagnosed with PCOS 14 years ago. I have Hashimoto's which turned to Hypothyroidism. Over the past year I have done absolutely anything and everything to understand and address my health as we have been TTC for so long with no luck. I was severely iron deficient and my B12, vitamin D and folate levels weren't great either. I've addressed these through diet and supplements and also started medication for my thyroid.
I know it's early days, but I just wanted to share this in case anyone has tried it previously with no luck, as it may be worth addressing any other underlying issues and then trying again.
The brand I've been using is linked below, I take two scoops a day, once before lunch and once before dinner.
