First asthma attack
Now I am on steriods, antibiotics, and
inhalers
got an appointment for a asthma nurse. Told to ring 999 next time. Where did this come from scared, confused 😕 Is it a good idea to get all my questions ready for the nurse will she answer them? Or will she be just doing tests.

Chest infection & return flight on Wednesday. Advice please
I ignored the tight chest as thought that was maybe dust so increased my
inhalers
. Fostair & Salbutamol. I have Asthma & mild Bronchiectasis I. was exhausted with no energy. By Saturday I felt a bit better but my chest was getting worse so I went to the local hospital to get checked.

Consultant doesn't believe my diagnosis
I requested my medical records from my surgery and found out when I was originally diagnosed with asthma and put onto
inhalers
at 7 and eventually steroid
inhalers
around age 9 and the entry states 'Breathing has improved hugely since starting
inhalers
and mum reports she is coughing less and sleeping

Fibro question
Been backwards and forwards to the Dr's to be told its your medication its, your asthma ,been given different
inhalers
. So I've pushed this now as it's getting worse. Had a CT scan done yesterday and they've found a blood clot on my lower right lung. Off course my mind went into over time.

Bisoprolol And Asthma
I have recently seen a couple of posts about taking/not taking Bisoprolol if you have asthma, but does that relate to those
inhalers
containing Salbutamol sulfate I have been taking 5mg of Bisoprolol twice a day for the past 12 years. (Paroxysmal Afb) plus the same of Ramipril and Doxazosin.

I have adult onset asthma at age 60. ( I’m now 64) 6 weeks ago I cut out one of my 2 steroid
inhalers
to see if I could manage without it as if I can’t I’ve been recommended a biologic.

Trimbow / Fostair
I saw a respiratory consultant recently and as most other
inhalers
have already been tried he suggested switching my seretide and spiriva to trimbow.

asthma
There were doctors arguing as to whether I had it or not at hospital after my op anyway several years down the line and on
inhalers
I definitely have asthma and have just been told to stop taking the bisoprolol as its not suitable for asthmaticasthmatics.

asthma never controlled no matter what
My daily
inhalers
work to open me up for like an hour but i react or feel short of breath all the time! Its NUTS. I do nebulizers around the clock- have been for 5 years. And breztri is my preventative. So, clearly im the weirdest case out there. Nobody knows what to do with me.

what next?
Hello, I was diagnosed with exercise induced asthma in Jan 2022 and since then have tried various
inhalers
. I’m currently on Luforbec using the MART regime, so twice a day as standard and then when needed before exercise. I’ve also been taking Montelukast for the last six months.

Need advice please
At that time she recovered and discharged with 2
inhalers
and no advice on how to cope with this horrible illness. Since then she has gradualy become less active and now out of breath and panic stricken doing anything that involves her being on her feet.
