Persistant cough
My GP has treated me with antibiotics and
inhalers
with no effect the only thing that stops it for a few weeks is steroids. Chest X-Ray showed only that my lungs looked a bit smaller than usual. The GP can hear crackles at the base of my lungs.

Incruse inhaler
I’m new to using
inhalers
. I’ve been trying various ones out as I have very mild emphysema and very mild bronchiectasis. I have multiple blood clots in my lungs which were diagnosed 13 months ago but they aren’t dissolving .

Health records diagnosis confusion…..
I am currently fighting a chest infection which has really floored me, on steroids and antibiotics and using
inhalers
when needed……but what really got me when I had to visit my doctors last week for this was that my (ACOS) Asthma COPD overlap syndrome had not been recorded on the system!

how long do doctors expect your asthma inhalers to last ? sabutamol Or ventolin inhalers ??
hi I’m not sure if anyone or even an asthma nurse on here can help me. I have had asthma since childhood and it was not until the age of 19 I was put on monteluask tablets that I was controlled. Back in 2017 I had what I thought was a chest infection and for the next 2 yrs has breathing / no air constant

sudden onset wheezing
I get some relief from
inhalers
but to be honest, the sudden change is really scarring me. Anyone else had something similar? Many thanks for reading this.

bronchodilator reversibility test
My spirometry is always normal - I think the lowest it’s been is 85% but always on high dose
inhalers
and nebs. What happens if they say you don’t have a good enough response to the medication? I’ve been diagnosed with severe asthma since 2015 and now saying previous tests inconclusive

I'd been unwell for 4 to 5 weeks after a virus and couldn't shift cough and was getting more breathless and wheezy Got home next day with brown and blue
inhalers
and 5 day course of prednisilone.

Causes Of Breathlessness
I was just knackered per the physio and the solution was to pace myself, rather than
inhalers

COPD medications
Also she is currently on clenil and spiolto respimat
inhalers
. She previously tried trimbow, but this made her wheezy all the time and she ended up hospitalised. I just wondered how common is it still to be on clenil with pretty advanced COPD? Is there a better steroid inhaler she should be on?

asthma never controlled no matter what
My daily
inhalers
work to open me up for like an hour but i react or feel short of breath all the time! Its NUTS. I do nebulizers around the clock- have been for 5 years. And breztri is my preventative. So, clearly im the weirdest case out there. Nobody knows what to do with me.

First asthma attack
Now I am on steriods, antibiotics, and
inhalers
got an appointment for a asthma nurse. Told to ring 999 next time. Where did this come from scared, confused 😕 Is it a good idea to get all my questions ready for the nurse will she answer them? Or will she be just doing tests.

Chest infection & return flight on Wednesday. Advice please
I ignored the tight chest as thought that was maybe dust so increased my
inhalers
. Fostair & Salbutamol. I have Asthma & mild Bronchiectasis I. was exhausted with no energy. By Saturday I felt a bit better but my chest was getting worse so I went to the local hospital to get checked.

Update on pred interaction with Diltiazem.
So we stopped the
inhalers
and prescribed a weaker one if I needed it at lower doses. Another shocker: I totally forgot my pred yesterday morning! And never felt it until this morning.

MY COPD REVIEW - Really.
Right - She started talking
inhalers
- I though "Wait for it) and yes, she said I probably would be better on Trimbow rather than three
inhalers

Trimbow 88/5/9
My
Inhalers
are being replaced by Trimbow 88/5/9. Does anyone use this inhaler and if yes do you carry a Steroid Emergency Card? I’m not using any other steroids currently. I’ve bronchiectasis & asthma. Thanks.

Trimbow / Fostair
I saw a respiratory consultant recently and as most other
inhalers
have already been tried he suggested switching my seretide and spiriva to trimbow.
