Fostair makes me cough
Hi, I was prescribed Fostair a few months ago, never having had a combination inhaler before. It was fine for a while but then I started coughing all day long. I read that this might be a side effect of Fostair so I stopped taking it and now the coughing isn’t so bad. However, there was a period of cold

Anybody else get inner ear problems with Relvar plus Incruse inhalers?
Hello all, I have been on Relvar 184/22, Incruse 55, Montelukast, Cetirizine, and Flixonase, for well over a year now for Bronch, plus Asthma, plus perennial allergies. I was almost immediately dizzy on starting the Relvar but told to persevere as 'the side effects will diminish with time. ' Sadly I

Hayfever and asthma
Inhalers
help for a short while but it’s really effecting my quality of life currently. I’ve heard hayfever in the U.K. seems to be affecting a lot more people every year being particularly bad this season.

Prednisone taper, Xolair, asthma-free vacation in France
Hi all -- If you have successfully tapered down, or got off, prednisone after getting on Xolair -- could you comment whether morning cortisol of 260 nM is acceptable, right before switching from 4 mg to 3 mg a day? I have been on 4 mg for 6 weeks, and I am now going down to 3 mg. My nurse and consultant

Have I been misdiagnosed?
Now, funny things have been happening at our surgery lately. Following a recent blood test, I was told I needed to be seen by the Diabetes Nurse, so I turned up for my appointment and, to cut a rather long story short, it turns out I'm not diabetic at all and shouldn't have been there! Yesterday, I

Chest infection confusion
Also on a lot of antihistamines, Montelukast, Spiriva Respimat, Relvar Ellipta, Ventolin (
inhalers
, nebuliser), Carbocisteine. Finally, I am on replacement 5mg Prednisolone (for adrenal insufficiency) rather than therapeutic doses, was on 10mg for a while with higher doses for longer before that.

Oral Thrush from Inhaler use
so I was only diagnosed with asthma last year, and I started using a clenil modulite inhaler. It was all good and fine for the first year, and then I got my first bout of oral thrush :( I have been using the max dose of my inhaler a lot and assumed that that was likely a part of the problem. I got daktarin

Trimbow dry powder Nexthaler
So now both non steroid
inhalers
are finished. I see the max is 2 puffs twice a day what do people do when unwell. I am under Royal Papworth in Cambridge. So I know they can change dose if need. But just interested in how others find it.
