Taking Symbicort and AF
I know that some
inhalers
cause side effects with AF drugs, is anyone using this inhaler or has used it. Can you let me know how you get on with it or anyone who has problems with using it. I also have Glaucoma which I believe can be a problem with this inhaler.

Fostair - lactose-free?
Could anybody confirm whether Fostair
inhalers
prescribed by the NHS contain lactose please? Unfortunately, I am allergic to lactose, when digested at least. I suspect inhaling it would not be good, so if Fostair does contain lactose, we'll have to find another alternative.

Accessing the right medications.
You should ask your doctor about PREVENTIVE
inhalers
. How to get them.

At that time she recovered and discharged with 2
inhalers
and no advice on how to cope with this horrible illness. Since then she has gradualy become less active and now out of breath and panic stricken doing anything that involves her being on her feet.

I have adult onset asthma at age 60. ( I’m now 64) 6 weeks ago I cut out one of my 2 steroid
inhalers
to see if I could manage without it as if I can’t I’ve been recommended a biologic.

Bisoprolol And Asthma
I have recently seen a couple of posts about taking/not taking Bisoprolol if you have asthma, but does that relate to those
inhalers
containing Salbutamol sulfate I have been taking 5mg of Bisoprolol twice a day for the past 12 years. (Paroxysmal Afb) plus the same of Ramipril and Doxazosin.

Fibro question
Been backwards and forwards to the Dr's to be told its your medication its, your asthma ,been given different
inhalers
. So I've pushed this now as it's getting worse. Had a CT scan done yesterday and they've found a blood clot on my lower right lung. Off course my mind went into over time.

what next?
Hello, I was diagnosed with exercise induced asthma in Jan 2022 and since then have tried various
inhalers
. I’m currently on Luforbec using the MART regime, so twice a day as standard and then when needed before exercise. I’ve also been taking Montelukast for the last six months.

I GAVE UP.
I was put on
inhalers
, for breathlessness. And had an allergic reaction and had to call an ambulance. I was on a trip to Mexico and bought Cytomel T3. Oh my, I felt so much better. But I was not able to have T3 prescribed by Dorset Formulary.

asthma
There were doctors arguing as to whether I had it or not at hospital after my op anyway several years down the line and on
inhalers
I definitely have asthma and have just been told to stop taking the bisoprolol as its not suitable for asthmaticasthmatics.

New here looking for some help!
Started my
inhalers
and nebuliser. I was flying to the US in a few days so called the GP for some antibiotics just in case it turned into a chest infection. Which it didn’t. Once I got to the US it got soooooo much worse. I ended uk with tonsillitis so used the antibiotics I’d gotten from the GP.

did an interesting exercise yesterday!
Found it really helpful, and interesting too, as I looked back on my progression through umpteen different
inhalers
🙄. With my memory being like a sieve these days, having everything in writing is invaluable.

please help..confused
The dr prescribed two
inhalers
, salbo and fostair for a week. Everything felt more blocked at the left side. I visited the physician again and He gave me a cortisone shot and said my lungs sound so much better. Chest xray is clear and PRC test is clear too.

Consultant doesn't believe my diagnosis
I requested my medical records from my surgery and found out when I was originally diagnosed with asthma and put onto
inhalers
at 7 and eventually steroid
inhalers
around age 9 and the entry states 'Breathing has improved hugely since starting
inhalers
and mum reports she is coughing less and sleeping

Light at the end of the tunnel, maybe?
She then spent ages going through all the possible
inhalers
to try and find if there was anything aerosol that comes close to Relvar (the only one that has ever really helped me but I had constant throat infections so had to change).
