OPEP therapy for bronchiectasis
I also use carbocisteine and asthma
inhalers
. Physiotherapy (mucus clearing breathing exercises) worked a little bit. I've taken expensive herbal remedies none of which has had any impact.

sudden onset wheezing
I get some relief from
inhalers
but to be honest, the sudden change is really scarring me. Anyone else had something similar? Many thanks for reading this.

So im only gonna get up and do all those

I do not know what to do.
I bought just the
inhalers
and I feel very good after using them. But what's next? What if I won't be able to redeem next month? I am asking for advice on where to go and how to convince the doctor to write a prescription for me.

Asthma and PIP
Today I visited nurse for asthma/COPD review and was told that they are now putting my diagnosis as asthma as they have been advised by Respiratory Consultant that if COPD is on my record then this could stop me having steroid treatment, including steroid
inhalers
?

Persistant cough
My GP has treated me with antibiotics and
inhalers
with no effect the only thing that stops it for a few weeks is steroids. Chest X-Ray showed only that my lungs looked a bit smaller than usual. The GP can hear crackles at the base of my lungs.

COPD medications
Also she is currently on clenil and spiolto respimat
inhalers
. She previously tried trimbow, but this made her wheezy all the time and she ended up hospitalised. I just wondered how common is it still to be on clenil with pretty advanced COPD? Is there a better steroid inhaler she should be on?

Health records diagnosis confusion…..
I am currently fighting a chest infection which has really floored me, on steroids and antibiotics and using
inhalers
when needed……but what really got me when I had to visit my doctors last week for this was that my (ACOS) Asthma COPD overlap syndrome had not been recorded on the system!

Taking Symbicort and AF
I know that some
inhalers
cause side effects with AF drugs, is anyone using this inhaler or has used it. Can you let me know how you get on with it or anyone who has problems with using it. I also have Glaucoma which I believe can be a problem with this inhaler.

Update on pred interaction with Diltiazem.
So we stopped the
inhalers
and prescribed a weaker one if I needed it at lower doses. Another shocker: I totally forgot my pred yesterday morning! And never felt it until this morning.

Fostair - lactose-free?
Could anybody confirm whether Fostair
inhalers
prescribed by the NHS contain lactose please? Unfortunately, I am allergic to lactose, when digested at least. I suspect inhaling it would not be good, so if Fostair does contain lactose, we'll have to find another alternative.

Consultant doesn't believe my diagnosis
I requested my medical records from my surgery and found out when I was originally diagnosed with asthma and put onto
inhalers
at 7 and eventually steroid
inhalers
around age 9 and the entry states 'Breathing has improved hugely since starting
inhalers
and mum reports she is coughing less and sleeping
