Could the schwannomas on my prostate be mistaken for cancer on various scans?
I have schwannomas on my Prostate gland, [Schwannomatosis NF3], could they be 'diagnosed' as "Prostate Cancer" Adenocarcinoma grade 7, I have had irregular urinary flow since the start of the schwannomas in early 2020?

grandchildren's live vaccines
I was meant to go to hydrotherapy yesterday but had fungal thing at top of leg so couldn't go. Today my step daughter and children were coming for tea but one of the kid's has had temperature and cough - so cancelled that. Next week was looking forward to seeing my grandson's but just found out one

I finally caught COVID the other week. Luckily it has felt just like a snuffly cold. Hopefully my 4 COVID jabs and only being on 4mg of pred has helped. My question is, how long generally did you still get a positive result? I am on day 9 and still positive lateral flow.

Covid and flu injections
Has anyone else had this problem. I received my 4th Covid jab and flu one in the same day nearly two weeks ago. Up until then I had been having a lovely time busy seeing friends and family and a short break away. Lots of walking. However since having the two jabs have been feeling very unwell with headache

“A good physician treats the disease, but the great physician treats the patient,” taught the father of modern medicine, William Osler.
Quite interesting article in the Guardian this morning about long covid but talks about patients with multiple symptoms who doctors find time consuming and may not believe. Many analogies to the experience of thyroid patients. If the link is only to the paywall you may be able to access the article

Atrial flutter
I developed tachycardia and was diagnosed with atrial flutter in December last year. This was 5 days after my Covid 19 booster jab, and I had never been aware of any heart problems before. I presented myself at A and E with a heart rate of 150 without any other symptoms. After spending all night and

RISK OF DYING OF COVID DURING THIS OMICRON PHASE
Hi, Covid Mortality Rates, I am wondering about the reality. I've read everything from 33% - 89% until Omicron. I've read 2% in a recent publication from Denmark during their Omicron phase, and most of those deaths were in age > than 71, with many other serious morbidities. Half of those dying

covid and migraine
I've finally succumbed to covid having managed to avoid it thus far. I have chronic daily headaches/ migraine. I'm now wiped out with Covid but the worst part seems to be my migraine pain having gone up another level. Every time I cough the pain behind my eyes from the migraine is awful. Has anyone else

Evusheld-Flu-Covid Injections In Two Weeks Timeframe
15 days ago, I received my second round of Evusheld. It had been 6 months since my first round of injections and the effectiveness was wearing down. Yesterday, I went to my nearby HEB grocery pharmacy and received the "senior" flu shot in my left arm and the new Moderna Covid shot in my right arm.
