Quite interesting article in the Guardian this morning about long covid but talks about patients with multiple symptoms who doctors find time consuming and may not believe. Many analogies to the experience of thyroid patients.

If the link is only to the paywall you may be able to access the article by googling the heading

Being in Canada, I was able to read it, thank you. There was also this one (theguardian.com/society/202... which was helpful. I had Covid at the start of the pandemic (August 2020) and the symptoms of hypothyroidism overlap in many respects with many symptoms of long Covid. Thank you Aurealis. That article from the Guardian was an eye opener. I have just (finally) been diagnosed with Long Covid (I have had it for two and a half year!) and am now part of a new 6 week programme run by the NHS to help "deal with the symptoms and come to terms with it". It's a horrible and totally non-understood thing.
