What supplements are you taking? What are you testing?
If testing iron/ferritin you leave off any iron supplement for 7 days, also don't eat iron rich foods such as liver in the the week before the test. An iron test should be done after a 12 hour fast and water only.
B Complex contains Biotin and that should be left off for 7 days because it gives false results for any blood test when the testing equipment uses biotin (which most does).
If taking B12 then to get a baseline you leave that off for 4-5 months. Otherwise your result reflects what you are taking.
Vit D take last dose the day before.
Anything else you take after the blood test on the day, not before.
I've been taking iron & vitamin C , one after the other, and Vitamin B complex. also a "synergistic formula" for joint pain with glucosamine, chondrotin, collagen, MSM and tumeric., which I feel has helped.
I didn't quite get the leaving off Vitamin B for 4-5 months. If I test for it in one week and I'm too low, what do I do?
