Vitamin tests for Hashimotos
Hi all. What vitamin tests do you recommend for Hashimotos? Most of the at home tests I've seen only cover vitamin D, B12 and foliate. Do I need to test zinc, magnesium etc. Thanks

Undiagnosed. Active B12 result. What does it mean please?
I have had painful feet and tingling since December last year which are worrying me a bit. I have many other symptoms, some going back 9 years which are on my profile. Any insights will be greatly appreciated. I had bloods taken in February at my GPs. B12 354 ng/L (130-1100) (23%through range)

How much vitamin D to take?
I was diagnosed with vitamin D deficiency (<30 ng/mL) a few years ago, and told to take vitamin D during the autumn and winter months. However, that only raised my levels to 30.9 ng/mL which is just above the deficiency threshold. So I switched to taking 5000 IU (brand: Doctor´s Best) daily and have

Do you also have silent reflux (Laryngopharyngeal reflux - LPR) ?
I've noticed I've developed silent reflux at the same time as my other B12 symptoms worsened. I am trying to make my case to my GP, so trying to understand whether this symptom is a common one. I'd appreciate to understand if others with B12 deficiency are going through the same. Feel free to share should

Hello. I have just tested my B12 and the results were surprisingly low as I have been supplementing with a B complex for a year now. Active B12 148pmol/L with range 118-701pmol/L.. These were done by Thriva. I now have ordered a sublingual complex with 2000ug of B12. How much should I be taking to get

i'm trying to eliminate a b12 deficiency from "my list". the fastest and probably cheapest way to do this is by self injecting. bypassing the clueless doctors, bad tests, and expense of office visits for injections. i found this site online https://perniciousanemia.org/ for about $4/day (they send powdered

Vit B12 supplement recommendations needed please.
I need to get my B12 up from 159 ng/L and am planning on starting super B complex as soon as my iron panel test is done, what is the best B12 supplement to take alongside this and which format is best- capsules, patches or sublingual lozenges? Unfortunately Dr doesn’t think my level is low so won’t give

More about Vitamin D
Following 2Grey's post about Vitamin D deficiency, here's some more info with critique of the levels doctors usually use to define deficiency. This is via an e-letter about osteoporosis I've been sent for some time but Im posting it here given the publicity of importance of Vitamin to protect against
