Where to buy syringes/b12? self injection

i'm trying to eliminate a b12 deficiency from "my list". the fastest and probably cheapest way to do this is by self injecting. bypassing the clueless doctors, bad tests, and expense of office visits for injections. i found this site online perniciousanemia.org/ for about $4/day (they send powdered methyl B12. i buy the saline and syringes) i could inject for a month. apparently they can do this without a doctor's prescription because it doesn't ship with needles. but it seems expensive for what it is ($100/month for pure powdered b12).

i have no experience with buying this type of stuff. can someone with experience point me to a good seller? i'm in the states, California.

i have many of the symptoms of low b12, including the neurological ones. over the last 10 years my serum b12 (i know it's a bad test) has tested 361, 256, and 552 pg/mL. it was suggested to supplement with b12 and i did several times with no effect. i now know that this wasn't conclusive because the issue might be absorption.

thanks

For better help , I suggest that you send another post indicating in the heading that you are in the US A This Society is based in U.K.

in Wales . We do have members in USA . who are better placed to help you .

I can only say that I would not recommend using powdered B12 and rehydrating it with saline . You end up with a large amount of B12 , which you use over a considerable time — time for contamination to be established . Always best to use single use ampoules .

I will send you a help sheet , but it’s mainly for U.K. members , but you might find it useful. Best wishes .

Not only is using the same vial for a month extremely dangerous (it will get contaminated by bacteria and fungal spores - exactly the type of thing you do not want to be injecting into your body) it is also likely to be ineffective.

Methylcobalamin in solution in not as stable as hydroxocobalamin or cyanocobalamin. It needs to be stored in the dark, preferably chilled, and at the right pH. Commercial single-use vials have chemicals in to maintain the correct pH. Your preparation will not. So the methylcobalamin will degrade over time.

So when I was injecting testosterone my vile lasted for about a month. And I remember thinking hmmm? contamination? Because I drew on it many times. But nothing ever happened and I think that practice is common. This was a thick oily substance. I wonder if there was some persevative in it.

I could contact the company and see what they have to say.

Single use ampoules are by far the safest.

That's why they were made.

Hi,

I have ordered from PerniciousAnemia.org, was due a refund from the of £78 as I returned the item to them. Theu said the item did not arrive and are not issuing me a refund. I would not order from them againn, personally.. If Royal Mail does not pay my claim, I will lose the money.

I would order directly from Oxford Biosiences, it is cheaper and the item come from the same place. Communication from Oxford Biosiences is also much better.

Hope it helps!
