DVT and now diagnosed with Behçet's
Under normal circumstances I would of course be on the steroids /
immunosuppressants
, and I hope me delaying them won't cause any problems. I still need to find out more about Behçet's. I'd love to hear any comments or advice anyone might have. Thanks in advance!

Reacting to the Virus
If you have a pre-existing lung condition (COPD, emphysema, lung cancer) or are on
immunosuppressants
, now is a great time to talk to your PCP or specialist about what they would like you to do if you get sick. They might have plans to get you admitted and bypass the ER entirely.

Treatment due
Well I’m due to go to the eye clinic in 10 days time for my blepharospasm treatment but am considering postponing it because the eye clinic is in a big city hospital. I live in a small village and I am immunosuppressed for RA - thinking give it a miss for now and rearrange! Anybody else considering pushing

COVID 19 and BWS
This information comes from medical specialists: In general, based on current understanding of BWS, there does not seem to be a specific effect on the immune system placing children with BWS at increased risk for serious infection by COVID-19. Don’t ignore changes in your symptoms
I am on
immunosuppressants
as I have Lupus and had had this infection for over a month without even realising. I also got referred to a gastroenterologist who wants to do an endoscopy as he thinks I have a hiatus hernia. I had ignored those symptoms for over a year!!

UK government's 12 week shielding group.
Everyday there is people asking "I have ,x,y,z conditions, should I be shielding for 12 weeks?" or "I have not received a letter from government, but should I be shielding for 12 weeks?" The following is the list of conditions where patients should have received the "12 weeks shielding/isolation" letter

This CAN'T be true! Can it? :(
I caught the end of an announcement (or something very like) on the radio (LBC) yesterday. To say it's been bothering me since is something of an understatement. Apparently, were someone with terminal cancer or motor neurone disease to become unwell and to be suspected of having contracted the virus,

Can I go the supermarket? Or am I high risk?
Hi all, I have had conflicting advice from my GP and ophthalmologist on whether I should be self isolating. I am on 10mg of prednisolone for Punctate Inner Choroidopathy, and have tapered down from 50mg which started in mid January. It feels like I am slipping under the radar of my hospital as they

Does prednisone dose in PMR patients modify severity of COVID 19?
Good day all, I have had PMR for several years and I am on 15 mg Pred. I have been ill with a respiratory infection for 9 days. I am awaiting Covid test results. Prednisone is known to have immunosuppressant side effects, putting us PMR patients in a high risk category. At the same time, it will be
