Treatment due

Well I’m due to go to the eye clinic in 10 days time for my blepharospasm treatment but am considering postponing it because the eye clinic is in a big city hospital. I live in a small village and I am immunosuppressed for RA - thinking give it a miss for now and rearrange! Anybody else considering pushing back due treatments?

All the best

Good luck though 🍀

Hi

All appointments here are being cancelled until further notice. The hospital with probably contact you soon to let you know what's happening. Ii they don't give them a quick call.

Stay safe.

I think most clinics are closed in th UK as staff diverted to covid duties . There is a very good video presentation and Q&A session with Dr Marion on the dystonia website in how cope with no botulinum toxin injections at the moment . Also a key summary of her talk and a transcript of the Q&A session

Hope this helps

Well treatment done. Very quiet and well run re minimal contact. Consultant positive about right thing to do as my B-spasm gets real bad if uncontrolled. Time will tell!!

Home - clothes & trainers in washing machine, showered with antibacterial soap (yes I had some saved for this occasion just in case) and shower sanitised. Now back to minimal contact so outside to do some more gardening.

Thanks for listening... stay safe and be well!
