Hi, I've posted about Care Opinion before but look every now and then to see if any stories have been posted about B12 deficiency. They want people to share good and bad experiences of health care in UK. Sometimes the GP surgeries

Cirrhosis and gallstones
Hi Everyone. I have yet another question [sorry!] I have cirrhosis, and gallstones were picked up in my last Cat Scan. Just wondering if gallstones can increase liver enzymes in blood tests? Thank you!

Researchers from WEHI and Trento University (Italy) have answered an age-old question: which function helps mutant p53 fuel tumour growth?
The study revealed that the
loss of function
in the mutated p53 protein is the critical factor in cancer growth, disproving the previously suggested gain-of-function role. Using CRISPR gene editing, the researchers removed various mutated forms of p53 and found no change in cancer cell behavior
