laxido liquid

hello, for the past 6 months I’ve been suffering from bad constipation, my gp suspected diverticulitis and I have been referred to a specialist, I’ve now had my first appointment and waiting on a date for a colonoscopy. The doctor prescribed laxido liquid and I took my first dose on Monday, by Tuesday night I was ill and was violently sick all night and all day Wednesday. I’ve been unable to hold any liquid down whatsoever and the pains in my tummy have been unbearable at times, could this be from the laxido?

There's a chance if you were fine before it and not after it. If you had a 2nd dose and it happens again then you have your answer

Hi. U not so well. But laxido is a bulking agent like fybergel. Usually well tolerated a slow laxative. Usually I find it a bit too slow lol .

I would try another sachet see how you go. And get back in touch with your gp.
