just started Imuran did that work for anyone with ITP? I am on prednisone but the side effects are so awful so dr is trying to ween me off.
I've had 6 treatments of rituxan but it had no affect. I have also gone through several treatments of ivig which works but is short lived.

How to take Imuran?
I was wondering is it safe to take Prednisone and Imuran together at the same time, or should I wait couple of hours after taking Prednisone?

if anyone takes imigran here 100mg for Migraine i wonder if they can answer this?.
I have
Imigran
to take as well as Amitriptyline and i have my Migraines every 11days to one every two weeks at the moment. It says you should not take it too often. But how often is ok then? Does anyone know?. I suppose it means every day or something.

I feel badly that I'm earning "frequent flyer miles" so to speak with all my many recent questions, but if I may ask one more for now: Does
it seem rather extreme that my rheumatologist would pull me off Imuran and tell me I need to be off of 40mg. of prednisone in two weeks time as I've caught a virus accompanied by a fever? I expressed my concern that my uveitis might relapse, etc. but he says I won't get over my virus due to immunosuppression

I would had taken
Imigran
if I had headache but I didn't and those symptoms lasted about 3 days which would have done with headache migraine. Was this called silent migraine? Should I had taken
Imigran
? Would
Imigran
take away thoese symptoms?

Changing triptans
It was
Imigran
at first, but when Zomig came along I changed to that and a single 2.5 mg wafer is usually pretty effective at clearing a headache/migraine within two to three hours.

Migraine - Anybody tried Zomig nasal spray?
I don't tolerate any meds well - let alone the migraine meds - triptans don't agree (
Imigran
) knocks me out - however, thought I'd give one last try with Zomig.

Strange symptoms coming off Pred
Hi all, I stopped taking Pred on Monday at the advise of my consultant - from 50Mg to zero with no taper (it's the way he always takes me off it). I have all the usual symptoms from this, pains all over, arthritis in my toes very bad, exhaustion and nausea but I also have a new strange symptom.

prednisolone questions
Hi all, I have a working diagnosis of Vasculitis with a probability of Behcets or possibly even Neuro Behcets. My main drug at the moment is Imuran but I'm also on high dose prednisolone for recurrent Bell's Palsy (five times so far since the end of January). Every time I'm taken off Pred for

Recommendation and your views please ..........................................................
Am shortly due to go back to my rheumy and try methotrexate but am reluctant to as I do like a few glasses of wine each night! Can you recommend any other drug??????????? Have looked at other med's Cellcept, Cytoxan, Imuran, lefunomide etc but would really appreciate your views and opinions.

Remicade, Imuran, Colchicine
I will start Remicade soon and my doctor plans to stop my Imuran and colchicine about the same time. However, I have heard that some Behcet's patients have remained on their immunosuppresants while using the Remicade. Is this a subjective decision by my doctor or is he just not following protocol (

My Behcet's headaches - "Atypical migraines"
I don't know about the availability of perfusion MRI's at the Behcet's Centres of Excellence, but it might be helpful to print out the full color version of the article I gave a link to and discuss it with your neurologist. It's common for Behcet's patients to have "normal" MRI brain scans when evidence

What do you do if the triptans don't work?
Yesterday the pain was getting really bad and I took another
Imigran
but within about 20 minutes the migraine got worse - I started to get an aura, and then again later on in the afternoon.
