off to get the heart fixed
Well after a week of high stress where my liver levels went through he roof due to imuran and it looked like my heart surgery planned for 6 months wouldn't come off, I am off soon to fly off to get my heart fixed, I hope. Got a call at 9pm last night from hospital to say your clotting factor is ok so

Migraines getting worse
They are now giving me
imigran
for when I have them which is good but I can't take them when working because I look after vulnerable adults. They work very well though. They are getting worse though and I'd rather have a preventative than something I take for an attack.

Start all over again
well it is just after 8pm here in Oz and I just had a call from rheumatology to say stop taking imuran as my liver test came back and they have gone from 240 to 860 in the last few weeks. So now the good news is I have to start the three month wait again to be eligible for biologics on something new.

At least another three months
Had my first visit to the biologics clinic and I do not qualify for biologics because I am not on MTX and didn't stay on it for 3 months before I stopped taking it, same with arava and now same with imuran. So my choices are go back on mtx and hope I don't kill someone due to the manic rage I experienced

and so it continues
Well it has been a whirlwind couple of weeks. Hubby home from New Zealand after 7 weeks with his kids, glad he did as it may be the last time they see him. Off to specialist with him as he is getting very deaf and I suspect early stages of dementia so doesn't understand what is being said to him. He

recently diagnosed with ITP
I was recently diagnosed with ITP. Taking 1.5mg prednisone and 100mg Imuran. I was misdiagnosed with Fibromyalgia, Lyme, and Neurosicticsircosis before. I am not sure we got the right disease now, but I will try the treatment and see if we finally got it. I am afraid it might be Leukemia.

My migraine has suddenly shifted sides - is this normal after 6 years?
Imigran
ususally gets rid of the pain even when it's been on the left. It's just very out of the ordinary for it to suddenly shift after so many years of it hitting my right side. Any feedback will be great Thanks Shuk

Imuran
Has anyone been prescribed Imuran for ITP? What are the side effects? Can you work given it suppresses your immune system?

Off MTX not sure what next
For those following at home........I spoke to the rheumy today and he agreed what I am experiencing is an adverse reaction to MTX, was surprised by my manic experience on Saturday morning but agreed that as it is me we were talking about anything is possible. He was disappointed that I cannot continue

Migraine mid cycle
Imigran
also doesn't deal with the auras. I'm trying to find out what hormone could be responsible for these migraines. Before pregnancy I had about 10 migraines overall. I am 36, otherwise healthy and try to exercise each week apart from when the migraines arrive.

Experience with LFT's going up and down??
Hi Everyone, I was diagnosed in April with PBC. My LFT's and GGT were through the roof--I am talking an Alkaline Phosphatase of 1400. I began taking URSO, and after 2 months, my ALP had gone down to 366 and my AST and ALT were in the high 40's--down from 200 or so. All was well, but just had my blood

starting on MTX & Imuran
Well after a long journey, 2 1/2 years, I have finally got my liver to a level where it can tolerate MTX & Imuran. I go on Monday to get the scripts and instructions, but I can tell you I am not looking forward to MTX as my sister had a really bad time on it and I have multiple chemical sensitivities

Migraine /cluster headache /red eye
Since
Imigran
came on the market, I have been successful in maintaining my headaches somewhat and after initial treatment at the onset of an attack, have been able to get on with things most of the time.

Imigran - Scared to use
Hi - I wondered if anyone had tried
Imigran
for migraine. My GP prescribed it for me recently. Usually I get by with a combination of painkillers although the one before last nothing seemed to touch it, which is why she prescribed
Imigran
. But when I looked at the side-effects it put me off.
