umbilical stem cell treatment
Just came across this, do you think its worth asking the hospital about it here in the UK..... It is a pleasure to meet you. I have heard a lot of you and the work you are doing. You are a very incredible man. I have a question for you, I am 29 years old. Healthy male, correct height and weight ratio

A Reality Check
Hi Folks I'd like to write and say hi and share my story with you all. I'm in Canberra, Australia and was diagnosed with BD last week after 15 years of progression of the disease. I was being treated for RA and had sought second opinions without much hope. Needless to say that I was actually

I have not been to the doctor since it is a large, anonymous group practice and I already have a prescription for
Imigran
. Any advice would be welcome.

Change of meds at Christmas!!
Hi all, not been great since the lumbar puncture and my visit to the Rheumatologist ended in a change of meds..off the imuran for two weeks and then on to methotrexate. I thought I was bad on the imuran but God what a flare up I am having now!! I can't believe that I was daft enough to agree to

Help! Headaches ruining my life
The best they came up with was
Imigran
Injections but at R400.00 (Approx R$38.00) each I just cannot afford to take these once a week let alone every day . My INR is also kept quite low - around 1.7 - 2.0 despite taking 7.5mg of Warfarin daily. I suffer from regular TIA's .

Medication Overuse
I attended the National Migraine Centre last week, feeling fairly sure that I would be told that I was taking too much medication - namely sumatriptan (
Imigran
). I was right. It seems that the best course of action is to go "cold turkey" - just cut out all medication - for a week.

just got email saying I have PBC, scared and confused
I just joined this group and i am so glad to find a forum where I can ask questions and share. But I am so sad, scared and confused. (first of all I think the doctor should tell me in person or on the phone, not the nurse in an email sent just as the office closes so now I get to spend the whole night

Just need to vent
I have had Lupus (MCTD) for the past 10 years -- diagnosed anyways. I recently went to my Dr and a few weeks ago I had a flare- but was feeling much better my prednisone intake went from 20 mg to 10mg and the Dr says that is a very high dose(I dont agree). So she has changed my medication - even though
