Hi,

After I have taken my Imigran I get left with the what I call the 'after' headache. It isn't nearly so bad and it does go. Some people find taking a paracetamol will help with this but I find it makes my headache worse.

Hi,

I am the same. I've been taking Imitrex (Imigran in the UK) for 15+ years. It kind of leaves a hangover effect. I feel heavy, exhausted and mild headache. It eventually goes away. All of these meds have their side effects unfortunately. Good luck with the Imigran, I hope that it helps at least!

Hi

Ive used imigran for 10 years and what I find is that my pain increases after taking it then goes away completely after a few hours. However, the sise effects for me have been joint pain and a follow up headache the next day. It is the best cure for a migraine ive seemed to find though but it does leave you very lethargic.

I find this occasionally....especially after a major episode when I take more than 1 Imigran. I try to fight through the lethargy and get out and exercise. I will drink a lot of water and if necessary take a paracetamol.
