2 rounds of ICSI both low fertilisation and failed
We had our first
ICSI
in 2020, we were told to do
ICSI
as my husbands morphology was low. I’ve had a fertility check were they deemed everything was ok with me, tubes fine and good AMH for my age - I am 34 now.

Donor Egg - mixed feelings
We have done
ICSI
and used embryo glue had endometrial scratch had extra progesterone support and steroids and also down regulated before the FET. So I feel like we have done everything we can and have run out of new things to do now.

male factor investigations
hiya My partner’s sperm morphology and count is low and we’ve had an unsuccessful round of
Icsi
on nhs (I also have pcos but egg quality was good, thankfully). Fortunately we have funding for another cycle.

Third fresh failed (6th embryo) 😢
This was our 6th embryo that has failed in a row on our journey for a sibling for our little girl (she was the result of our very first fresh round
ICSI
almost 4 years ago!). Since having her I have never seen a positive pregnancy test and it's been the most heartbreaking journey.

Should I use ICSI with a sperm donor?
The embryologist told me yesterday that the clinic uses
ICSI
by default (it’s an extra £1,350), but I can choose to have standard IVF if I wish. She said that the fertilisation rates for
ICSI
and IVF are broadly similar.

Change clinics after failed first attempt?
They said all eggs looked healthy quality but only 4 fertilised ( they said
ICSI
plus calcium might be tried next time, no male factor, I think they think it’s my stubborn eggs)😏 Out of the 4 that fertilised, we got 4 day 5 embryos ( 3 became blasts).

IVF and work (teaching) and stress, time off for appointments. UK
IVF and work (teaching) and stress UK I resigned from my horrible secondary school teaching job this summer and then found out our
ICSI
was starting (brought forward. I am currently unemployed. The nature of the appointments is very little notice.

To get signed off, or not to get signed-off, that is today's question!
We only have enough cash for 2 more IVF with
ICSI
and PGT rounds so want to make sure I am in the best place possible physically and mentally and not kick myself later - but also do what's right for us. I
cannot
lose my job, outside of a lottery win.

Lifestyle changes for fertility
We've had 3 failed
icsi
so far, now embarking on private. It's more of a moan and looking for reassurance that this is normal to feel this way. We have finally got more answers and sense in one consultation then 3 years nhs. They suggested Mediterranean diet, certain supplements to help.

A positive journey so far, awaiting transfer on Sunday!
My partner and I are having
ICSI
at the moment after trying to conceive for 3 years. We did our egg retrieval this week. They collected 22 eggs and 19 of them fertilised on day one and all are doing really well (day three update with a minimum of 6 cells each).

So some of you will know my history, we had success on our second
ICSI
cycle( first fresh transfer) back in 2021 and after a healthy pregnancy our daughter was stillborn at 34 weeks. we have been continuing treatment since May 2022 in the hope of conceiving a sibling for our daughter.

First IVF Cyle - Endo sufferer - What should I be doing to prepare?
His recent fertility results show his morphology and mobility is below the normal level ☹ I found out on Friday that we have been approved for 1 round of private
ICSI
cycle. Delighted, honestly… it feels likes the months of hard work have been worth it for this chance.

Success stories with ICSI
Did
ICSI
too. Out of 5 mature eggs, only 2 fertilised on day 1. The embryologist will grow then until day 5 but not sure if they will survive. It’s very upsetting. Anyone has any success stories?

Husband low in every aspect so we do
ICSI
. Assuming it’ll be egg quality but wondered if anyone can add anything. Never had any further investigations done with sperm, never been offered anything. Xx

Supplements for men for IVF
My husband has normal sperm but is slightly low on the morphology side (4% now and was slightly less in a previous test) and we are doing stardard IVF, not
ICSI
. The Dr recommended Impryl and my husband has been working to cut down alcohol.

Hysteroscopy wait times
Privately, it would cost something like £2.5k, which we could afford but saving our pennies for when we start finding our
ICSI
treatment privately. Has anyone else been in this situation? How did you manage the waiting and worrying? Thank you lovelies xx

Need mental help or support about sharing the ivf procedure with parents and in laws

FET failure. My parents torture me to the core to share all the details of my process and everytime I tell them they have no rights to ask and I'm not obliged to tell, they start up their drama of being silent.

Starting IVF ICSI in Jan - Feelings
Hi all, sorry if my post goes on forever. I’ve been contemplating for a while about posting but I haven’t know what to say. I’m 35 and husband 41 and after tests in Aug, it was realised we’d need IVF. I’m really fortunate to have a work benefit through private healthcare and will be using that. Following
