Now we have a reason
ICSI
gets over the problem which is great, and what it does tell is us why we haven't been able to conceive naturally. Previously just 'unexplained infertility'. On one hand, it's a relief to have a reason why it hasn't worked.

IUI and IVF
I have been trying for another baby but my husband has poor sperm count so we went straight to
ICSI
/IVF. We had 3 cycles but they all failed. Managed to get ‘good’ embryos but not worked, including a blastocyst transfer.

Waiting list vs life
My husband and I are currently on the Scotland NHS waiting list for
ICSI
(we both have issues in terms of fertility). We've been told that we should be at the top of the
ICSI
waiting list in the first quarter of 2019, basically meaning anytime from Jan-Mar.

IVF PGD
My husband and I have been backwards and forwards for the last year after being referred for
ICSI
. As we were about to begin we found out he has a Translocation which means we also now have to have PGD. I had a scan last week and was told they could only find 1 follicle.

Short Protocol
So we had our follow up today after our third and only successful round of
ICSI
ended sadly in a missed miscarriage. Our Dr has suggested that we try short protocol for the first time this round as I’ve ended up costing in 2 out of 3 rounds so far and come close to cancelled cycles.

How many cycles before you were blessed with a baby?
Im currently waiting to start my first
ICSI
(if all goes well with sperm retrieval) And was curious as to how many cycles it took each of us before we had a little baby.. or prehaps what cycle were currently on and still waiting for a miracle? TIA x

We’re over the first hurdle...⚠️BFP WARNING⚠️
So, we’ve just had our second round of
ICSI
and tested positive this morning (our official test date) with a nice strong line! 😊 the first hurdle is passed but now, obviously, the nerves have kicked in.

Hope vs Mental Health? Last chance advice, would really appreciate help please x
Hi All, Trying to make this a short story but basically we have been waiting for
ICSI
since we were diagnosed with MFI as well as PCO in March - had to wait for various tests etc so we used the time to prep by eating healthier, taking supplements etc.

Update - the dreaded call 😬😬😬
After being up since 6 am stressing about the call....out of my 14 eggs...11 were mature...and 8 fertilized through
ICSI
! Sooo happy! 8 is also my lucky number 😁 so here in NZ the way it works is, if you have 4 embryos or less they do a 3 day transfer. More than 4 a 5 day transfer.

Well, as the title says, our first round of
ICSI
which we started all the way back in April, has ended in a negative.

Devastated- 11 eggs collected yesterday none fertilised
Going to speak to consultant about
ICSI
but can’t imagine being up for going through all of this again to be honest. In some ways it’s given us some answers about why we haven’t conceived naturally. Anyone else had problems with egg and sperm not bonding? Any advice?

Can you help me join the dots?
He said
ICSI
was our only option and was fairly pushy about doing it soon.

8dp5dt cramping and bleeding
This is my first cycle of
icsi
so have nothing to compare this too. Also official test date is Friday but I'm thinking of testing tomorrow as I cannot rest and if I see a negative test it might help me come to terms with it. 😔

low ovarian reserve, IUI as last resort for bad quality eggs
Hello, I went to more appointments today, after 6 mnc attempt with 4 eggs of bad quality retreived, (embryos die on day 2) our specialist adviced to go completly natural cycle with egg retreival and
icsi
, or to even to test IUI.

The rollercoaster begins...
We are starting our 5th IVF
ICSI
cycle now AF has finally decided to show up 4 days late. This will be our 3rd cycle with current clinic. As we have had a few months off since the last treatment they wanted to do a day 2 scan to make sure all is good for starting stims on day 5.
