When to give up…
In summary, I have had 2x laproscopy in the last 4yrs, a mixture of long/short/natural modified IVF/
ICSI
cycles. In 2020 I gave it my all and implemented lifestyle and nutrition changes suggested in “it starts with an egg” alongside Accupunture.

Triggered too soon
Just had the call from clinic to update us of rate of fertilisation following egg retrieval yesterday. 15 follicles, 9 eggs collected, none fertilised via
ICSI
. The embryologist stated none of the eggs were mature.

AMH wobbles ....
He has Azoospermia so just ruled out he doesn't have chromosomal abnormalities, which was a relief and now on the path towards
ICSI
. One thing I wasn't expecting was a slightly lower AMH level than average. I'm 34 years old and was advised ideally 20-25pmol/L was about right but mine was 14 pmol/L.

Recurrent implantation failure test
I’ve had one early pregnancy loss from an
ICSI
cycle and two failed transfers (1 x Fresh and 1x frozen). Our consultant has suggested that I do a RIF test. I didn’t realise how expensive it was. Have you taken the test and did it help with you next cycle/s at all? Thank you x

Marriage fallen apart 7 months pregnant - no idea what to do!
I have a 2 year old son conceived after 3 painful years of fertility treatment and I am 7 months pregnant with my second (again after
ICSI
) and my husband of 12 years has kicked my son and I out of our home and is stonewalling me, refusing to engage in any conversation with me at all.

3th cycle IVF, low reserve and poor responding
Second cycle same protocol and
ICSI
. 3 eggs collected, 2 mature, 2 fertilised. Very slow growing embryos. At day 5 they told me the transfer will be cancelled. On day 6 they called and said 1 embryo miraculously became a blastocyst overnight. Poor quality. The transfer did not result in pregnancy.

Transfer day - help keep me positive with success stories of 3 day embryo transfers!
After my egg collection on Thursday (5 eggs retrieved) they were only able to inject 3 (we’re doing
ICSI
) and only 2 fertilised. Got a call this morning to say one had developed abnormally and so we were to come in today for a 3 day transfer.

Waiting for the wait..
We're awaiting husband's kariotype blood test result before being referred for
ICSI
. We've been provisionally told that it will be at least 8 months before starting treatment if they can retrieve sperm.

Egg collection = 1 egg that didn’t survive ICSI
After our egg collection in March that yielded no eggs, this collection was really going to dictate our chances. Well the title says it all after 2 rounds we still have nothing to transfer 😭 I am 35, AMH 4.9 I had 4 follicles but again they couldn’t access my abdominal ovary. In terms of using my own

First FET - a few question:
Story so far:
ICSI
because of poor morphology. first fresh round only got one morula. Failed cycle. Second fresh round: 2 top grade blastos one put back and failed second going back on June 20th. 1. Had anyone had success with a similar experience? 2.

To ERA (Emma and Alice) or not to ERA?
Also used
ICSI
and IMSI to get around husbands DNA frag after 6 months of supplements and lifestyle changes - which seems to work as we had 86% fertilisation rate. So maybe just maybeee that’s all there is to find? Can an ERA be done around a semi medicated FET?

BFN again 😢. What now and home vs away…
I’m almost 39 and need to consider if we proceed with anymore
ICSI
cycles. I feel like I’ve lost all hope and not sure how much heartache I can continue to go through. But on the other hand I feel like my first three cycles were pointless as I never had a chance with my leaking tubes.

Does ICSI give better fertilisation rates?
Im about to start another cycle on the long protocol and was wondering if I should go for
ICSI
rather than IVF! No sperm issues just my old age😪 Thank you everyone 🙂

Repeated implantation failure - recommendations for tests, treatment and clinics?
We had a successful round of
ICSI
in April 2021, resulting in 9 good quality blastocysts. Since then we had one fresh transfer and 3 FETs (transferring 2 blastocysts, 1 and then 2 in latest transfer). None have implanted.

Change in cycle protocol any advise?
I asked my consultant what I can do differently this time round and he has suggested I do
ICSI
even though there is no sperm issue , he thinks we should do
ICSI
and add Calcium Inophore to activate the eggs.

IVF/ICSI June/July 2022
Hello, I’m hoping to find some ladies who are currently going through IVF. I am currently going through my second round. We had our first round in 2019 and it was a success and we now a beautiful little girl and we are hoping to give her a sibling. I found that forums really helped during our first round

**sensitive** OTD result
Good morning everyone, Today is OTD at 14dp3dt and I'm delighted to share it's a BFP 🥳 Have been trying for over 10 years and have never had a positive test so I was in shock to see it today after our first round of IVF (
ICSI
)!

Horrendous feedback meeting
Hey girls, I’ve been AWOL on here since my last failed
Icsi
cycle (number 3). I think I’ve been taking some time to “forget” about IVF - as much as we ever do…… Anyway, two days ago I had my NHS ‘feedback’ appointment - we had two NHS
ICSI
cycles .

Day1 post egg collection- disheartened
Out of 20 eggs they managed to
ICSI
17 but only 4 have fertilised overnight 😥 they will ring me tomorrow to see how things are and if we should freeze tomorrow or go to day 5 before freezing. He said it would be our choice in what we do.
