Overseas for donor embryos

Hi, am a week overseas in Cyprus, all the way from Australia😀 am about to have donor embryo's No names of clinics or doctors mentioned to protect various laws or what have you.

Just a personal message to whoever reads and is interested. As we know, we are all very determined ladies, and that things like this take a lot of grit, and determination.

Specifically, I have been dreaming of a sibling for my icsi sperm donor miracle baby now almost 3.

I've run out of healthy eggs at 43 probably, and well, ivf is just hard.! Also, I have tried and tested my remaining blasts from my girls batch which all failed to implant.

I'm on my own, so donor embryos it is😁 some may ask why travel so far?? Well, because Australia has 7 year waitlist for donor embryos due to covid., so I asked the Dr what's the good news??? They said, you're only option is to get donor embryos from overseas.. As I can't be 50 years old doing this😁 lol. So here I am, in a weeks time, I'm having donated double embryo fresh transfers, fingers and toes crossed. Love to you all x

How amazing - how are you feeling? How have you found the experience having treatment so far from home?

Its so good and in many ways so superior to Australia where I felt money was their only objective, this clinic does doubles and wants it to work, just a good feeling, can't wait to tell my clinics in Australia that these guys got it done in 2 weeks and twins and successfully, and for less than half the price and hastle fingers crossed.

I’m also 43. I froze 6 eggs at 41, almost 42 and just did another cycle and got another 7 eggs

4 made it to blast with donor sperm 💫

I had a AA blast transferred 4 days ago 😊

Hopefully it’s my baby 💗

The wait is so hard !

What a lovely positive message and full of happy anticipation! Just wanted to wish you all the very best for your upcoming transfer from a fellow older mum (44) of one who cannot wait to finally hold a sibling for her miracle first born after a long journey of heartbreak. Your positivity and we-can-do-this-attitude is so inspiring! Keeping it all crossed for you! xx

how amazing vibes you have. Good luck with your treatment. I had double embryos DE transferred in September 2022 in North Cyprus. My both girls turned 6 months. They were born at 31 weeks.

I know probably posted the pic before but just relieved. Travelled a long way and its not just the costs, its everything to get here and do it taking time off, advance paying ur bills etc, taking a toddler into the scanning rooms as you're not sure about leaving them with babysitters etc.. Got a faint bfp, 4dp5dt (double, fresh)
