Awaiting for an ICD procedure
Hi am on the waiting list for a medical procedure (transvenous
ICD
) and my existing travel insurers (Safesure) wont insure me for a forthcoming trip to France. Does anyone have a recommendation for another UK insurer?

Ablation
Hey allJust had a call from my consultant asking my permission to put me down on the list for an ablation due to his worry that my
ICD
will deliver a shock which he doesn't want. I am now worrying about this.

ICD fitted in 1997! & I live a normal life
I write this not to wrong anyone, but to give those people who are struggling with doctors’ diagnoses hope, encouragement, and wonderment. To give another perspective. Update fainting/dizzy spells
On Friday my heart rate peaked at 174 and took an hour to slow down even with my
ICD
pacing. Pacing team rang to check I was ok as home monitor sent them the information. I've had my bisprolol increased to 12.5mg daily and told not to drive until symptoms are under control.

Should I reduce my desogestrel dose?
Hi everyone I'm new here, sorry if this seems like a bit of an essay - I am after some advice about desogestrel. I have been on desogestrel for almost 10 months now (8 months at double dose). It's not been an easy ride, constant bleeding everyday (very heavy to start with). Finally at 9 months

Just been diagnosed, unsure of what to do next?
Hello! So I finally had the results from my MRI and it has confirmed endometriosis was found. It was honestly just utter relief. I nearly burst into tears. I have been going backwards and forwards, having test after test, advocating for myself, being gaslit by different gp's, for years and now

Nervous about conscious egg collection
hi everyone, I’ve had 2 egg collections before under sedation administered by an anaesthetist where I have been asleep and not at all conscious of what has been going on and I have found them completely fine. However I have changed clinic and the new one (major NHS hospital in London) has said I will

Endometriosis and the Kyleena IUD
Hi all, Just after some experiences please. I went to my GP to ask for a hysterectomy due to my increased symptoms of endo that I've had since I was 11 (I'm now 36). I have been absolutely blessed with having a child of my own and have now got to the stage in my life where child 2 isn't on the cards
