Hi am on the waiting list for a medical procedure (transvenous ICD) and my existing travel insurers (Safesure) wont insure me for a forthcoming trip to France. Does anyone have a recommendation for another UK insurer?

Try Avanti very good
Good luck, there are not many if any that will cover you while awaiting procedures and if they do it will cost a lot 😔 plus you'll have to declare that you have been refused cover by Safesure
Try a comparison site for travel insurance with pre-existing conditions and take it from there Or a local insurance broker.
I have now bought annual insurance through All Clear. Not cheap but less than I expected.
