Update fainting/dizzy spells

My heart nurse and consultant think they have figured out the cause of my dizzy spells and the fainting episode. It's my heart rate. On Friday my heart rate peaked at 174 and took an hour to slow down even with my ICD pacing. Pacing team rang to check I was ok as home monitor sent them the information.

I've had my bisprolol increased to 12.5mg daily and told not to drive until symptoms are under control.

Fingers crossed this will help stop the constant dizzy spells.

Hope everyone else is doing ok xx

just knowing what is going on is a relief in itself, and hope the meds relieve your symptoms too. I love reading when people get answers and the help they need 👍

Thank you. Yes it's a big relief. I too love seeing/reading about others getting answers etc x

Dear you,

You have had a journey and a half so far And by all accounts its not over yet.

Glad that there seems to be a new plan for you now and hopefully once the Bisprolol kicks in { fast in my case } you will feel some improvement.

Take care
