Chronic back pain and pain relief?
Everything I read it seems I shouldn’t take
ibuprofen
only paracetamol which doesn’t touch the pain. Been seeing an osteopath recently but so far hasnt helped much. Hot water bottle and deep heat is what Im on constantly. Is this all i can have?

Tesco Drivers - full of information!
What I did find interesting (as a diabetic who can't take
Ibuprofen
) is he recommended ginger, garlic or turmeric as alternatives to anti-inflammatory drugs. Do they work? All that from picking up my mushrooms!! LOL

Pain relief for pleurisy in Lupus
I've been given slow release
Ibuprofen
but makes no difference. What is the treatment for long-term, probably permanent pleurisy? Well, perhaps I should say, what helps?

I have covid! Can I take ibuprofen?
I have covid 19 and have received a monoclonal infusion To help stop it from progressing. I can already feel my liver kinder hurting. My fever is around a 102 and I want to take something but I don't want to hurt my liver any more and there's no doctors who will speak to me. Any advice? It seems that

I live all the time on Paracetamol and

. This year I have done 2 MRI scans to check my head they saw some white dots but my doctor said it's nothing serious. last year I took Pregabalin but it's not reliable help me. And I decided not to experiment with pills.

Inflamatory Headaches
Nothing other than very strong painkillers (ie not paracetamol or
Ibuprofen
) would touch them until I discovered Sumitriptan which works in a completely different way.

Metastatic prostate cancer chronic lower back and pelvic pain which gets much, much worse at night.
From 2am to 8am I have tried
ibuprofen
to no avail and my consultant has prescribed OxyNorm for night time use which has had zero effect. So far only staying up standing during this time makes the pain anywhere near bearable and so I’m suffering terrible sleep deprivation.

Pain management and blood thinners
Although I go to an osteo almost weekly I usually rely on
Ibuprofen
to keep the pain at bay along with paracetamol and codeine. I don't take huge quantities of either of them but just enough to keep me walking out of pain - maybe just one of each as necessary.

Myopericarditis how long to recover
After 5 days the cardiologist says it's myopericarditis due to a virus and prescribes colchicine for 3 months and
ibuprofen
for 2 weeks and I'm discharged but should get a cmri scan at some point.

Results of Radiation to My Fractured Superior & Interior Pubic Ramus Bones
At my 6th day, my pain dropped from 8 (with 800mg of
ibuprofen
2-3x/day) to 3. I have 2 more to go and each day I feel less pain. I’m incredibly thankful that my quality of life is being restored. 🙏❤️🙏 They 3D mapped the radiation to go around any organs to minimize any adverse side effects.

Insane lower back, buttock
In the mornings I can't move and find myself same the same position I slept and have to ask for sandwich and crushed
ibuprofen
with straw just so I can get out of bed. The pain goes from lower back and buttocks to my leg and so I find it extremely hard to walk.

How to manage severe symptoms of B12 deficiency?
But since I take painkillers I didn't take resperidone because it's SSRIs ( selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor) and it has severe interaction with NSIAD painkillers like naproxen and
ibuprofen
and causes gut bleeding in 75 % of people and lead to bigger problems.

Update on my ongoing pericarditis after second Moderna vaccine
I took just
ibuprofen
for first 5 week then cardiologist added colchicine which I’ve been on for 4 weeks ish. Hopefully heading in the right direction but only time will tell. Feel free to ask me any questions if you are in a similar situation. I will keep everyone updated after my next visit.
