Just had two bad days with Gout on my right toe. Have done much research and relying on Colchisine for relief. Also using Ibuprofen to get some sleep. A new experience which incapacitates me as I prefer to be active.

Any advice?

HiI have had Gout for a number of years, Colcichine should clear it after a few days, however you should also be talking to your gp about getting onto alpurinol which will reduce the uric acid in your blood which is the main reason for the flare ups, also avoid beer, anchovies and offal like liver etc, also drink water regularly..good luck!
