23 & finally getting endo removed in a few days!
I'm having a laparoscopy and
hysteroscopy
...I have never been so excited for an operation before! Hopefully this is the beginning of the end of excruciatingly intense period pain! I will let everyone know what the results are!

Mirena coil experiences
I have pcos and am having a laparoscopy and
hysteroscopy
next week and the consultant was keen for me to have one put in because of my heavy periods. I really don't want one in case it causes weight gain... Thank you! X

Recommendations for a trusted Endo Gynecologist London or SE?
My G.P says I need a referral fairly quickly due to recent scans as the Gynecologist I say last year in October 2015 Sussex just wasted my time – she performed a
hysteroscopy
but not biop, stated I should have another laparoscopy in January and then did not get I touch with either myself of my G.P for

Anyone treated endometriosis successfully?
His suggested treatment plan for me is laparoscopy to diagnose and excise the endometriosis (if any),
hysteroscopy
and insert mirena.

Recovery timr
Hi there, I have my laparoscopy and
hysteroscopy
booked on a Thursday in a few weeks and am back at work the following Wednesday. Will that be enough recovery time? Am so nervous about it and really hope there's not even more pain afterwards.

My Fallopian tubes are damaged - advise needed please!!!
Hi Girls, had a Laparoscopy and
Hysteroscopy
just before the weekend due to PCOS. They did ovarian drilling on one of my ovaries and was told that the PCOS is not severe at all and there is no endo but one of my fallopian tube is severely damaged and the second one is a bit leaky.

Any advice needed
Gynaecologist said lap and
hysteroscopy
to be done, which was a few months later - six weeks check up Yes I removed endo from pelvic cavity and discharged. Was still in the same amount of pain as before but was told go back to gp as it wasn't a gynaecology problem!

This is all so new...
Fast forward to July, 8 months later, I have just had a laparoscopy and
hysteroscopy
to look inside and was only told 2 weeks ago that I have severe and extensive endometriosis, with all my organs stuck and adhered together... I did not even know or fully understand what endometriosis was?

What would you suggest
The gyno that I saw was very abrupt and rude and even though he's agreed that I need a lap and and a
hysteroscopy
I am incredibly nervous now about it all. He is a private doctor in the two main private hospitals although I am seeing him as an nhs patient.

Sperm DNA fragmentation results
No guarantee that it still wouldn't be fragmented Option 2) Using donor sperm after I have a hsg, possibly a
hysteroscopy
(however that's spelt) to check I have free tubes etc Option 3) Adopting All 3 have pros & cons - hubby has ruled out option 1 as he doesn't want to spend the money.

Hysteroscopy
The gynaecologist has booked a
Hysteroscopy
without anaesthetic and I am so scared. I have not slept this week and I am vomiting when I think about it.

Endo update
So he booked me in for another operation to look inside I've Just had second
hysteroscopy
today NO LAP and marina coil fitted. Gynae didn't come to see me after op and wasn't given any notes so I've got to wait 6 week for a catch up with him.
