Zoladex Injection
Hi Yesterday had my first Zoladex injection to shrink my fibroids and womb ready for my
hysterectomy
. I ve been informed of the possible side effects of the Zoladex which is basically going through the menopause. Has anyone else had similar experience?

Terrified of Stopping Zalkya and fear of the coming onslaught
There’s nothing other than a
hysterectomy
or Prostap available as options and both terrify me. My whole life is in ruins. Clinging on to my job, living from my bed- house is a pigsty! I’m in so much pain and feel so low that stopping this was my only option.

Hello ladies💜 can i ask if any of you had a hysterectomy? & did it help?
I have finally been put on the waiting list for a
hysterectomy
. This feels the last resort for me. I have tried everything& my womb pain is ruling my life now. Can i please ask anyone's experiences. *did you feel better after having a
hysterectomy
? * how long did you wait on the NHS?

Hi everyone I'm new to the group 😊 has anyone had their work contract terminated due to time off with endometriosis?
I don't think I will able to get a job in the next few months with my ill health and having time off for my
hysterectomy
next year won't look good on any potential new employers 😔

Overmedicated but low temperature readings?
I have a full
hysterectomy
last year and I recently stopped my oestrogen HRT due to terrible acne breakouts, mood swings and weight gain (although the temperature issue pre-dates that).

HRT for fibro? Anyone got experience?
My GP has suggested HRT - I had a
hysterectomy
in 2004 so well through the menopause without symptoms. My GP has seen great results in another patient and wants me to consider it. I did read a medical study that backed up what my GP said. Has anyone else tried this?

When a Lie pays off !
She said she felt awful in so much pain, sat her down and asked about symptoms, I already knew she had many red flags, pins and needles, fibroids awaiting
hysterectomy
etc, she said she felt like a hypochondriac.

Fertility Preservation - Similar experiences?
He told me he did not remove any endo and I would need to see a fertility specialist to complete fertility preservation surgery - I have no idea what this is - as I am 28 years old and the other option would be a
hysterectomy
.

prostap didn't work -what next?
I finally had a call from the specialist who basically told me because the prostap hasn't shown improvement in pain then there's no point having a
hysterectomy
. He said it may be that my body is used to being in pain and that's why I'm in pain.

MRI for diaphragm endometriosis
I just wondered if it would be worth trying to get one vs another laparoscopy as my poor stomach can’t handle more surgery after the
hysterectomy
. Any advice would be welcome xx

The doctor has already said he will likely do excision but may need to go for a lap
hysterectomy
. I'm not convinced surgery is the answer at all.
