vasospastic angina
Hi, I had a radical
hysterectomy
one month ago. Since then vasospastic angina has got worse. Can this kind of surgery and drop in hormones cause issues. I am told it will settle but to date it hasn’t and resulted in two trips to A&E. Grateful for advice. Many thanks

Hi All, just wondering if anyone has had any experience with turning down a
hysterectomy
and just getting a large cyst removed instead on the nhs?

Lap surgery then hysterectomy surgery wait time
I am having a lap next week to in the words of my surgeon 'have a look around' and then followed up with a
hysterectomy
including removing womb, cervix, ovaries, fallopian, one 14cm mass and one 18.5cm mass plus two fibroids. I have been waiting two years.

Hysterectomy at 30
Has anyone had a
hysterectomy
to help with endo pain and did it work? I’m 30 and yes, I know I am young but I have also suffered with severe endo pain for 15 years and have literally tried all options provided to me with nothing working.

zoladex/HRT pending hysterectomy
I am on the surgical waiting list for a
hysterectomy
with a view to keeping my ovaries as I am 34. Since the injection I have had a horrible stomach ache (alongside the usual crippling pain) but I can’t eat, I feel nauseous and I can’t open my bowels.

Hysterectomy, Oophorectomy or neither?
Question for you warriors out there, my gynae has suggested a
hysterectomy
( which I am not entirely ok with) Or left ovary removal along with the endometrioma or do nothing... eat pain relievers, exercise & diet & generally try to self manage until I hit that menopause when it should all die down .

Adenomyosis diagnosis
The GPs are reluctantly removing the mirena for me but are flat out refusing
hysterectomy
, despite me not being able to have children (another possible symptom that has been psychologically damaging) and are just wanting to give me pills for the side effects rather than treating the problem.

Estrogen Replacement therapy after surgical menopause
I had a full
hysterectomy
- removal of everything, over 20 years ago. I am on 2mg of Estrogen once per day. The docs used to do the implant yearly but it is no longer available. I am now 51 years old. Its odd as lots of people I know are going through menopause, weird to know where I sit!

Awful day
She tells me we can do it if you’re not bleeding heavily but why bother ( I’m having a total
hysterectomy
in October) putting yourself through it. Me being sensible/stubborn took the tablets and headed off to appointment. Nurse was fantastic she listened while I explained my situation.

MRI results
I am awaiting a
hysterectomy
but suspect I do have rectovaginal endo and bowel endo that hasn’t been picked up as it’s not deep infiltrating. I also have dense bowel adhesions which were found during my last lap. anyone else had a similar mri? What was the outcome at your lap?

My fibroid is embedded and so they’ve told me, my only option is a
hysterectomy
or Endometrial ablation. Has anyone ever had an experience like this? Where maybe they missed it or if a single, small fibroid can cause such awful symptoms.

hi, I have endometriosis and Adenomyosis and had a total
hysterectomy
about 8 weeks ago. The surgery was quite complicated and took a long time due to the amount of scar tissue that had to be removed.

Oestrogen only HRT
Does anyone have any experience of taking oestrogen only HRT after a partial
hysterectomy
? I've been recommended this,by a BSGE consultant, but didn't think that oestrogen only was a good option and now I'm really confused.
