Severe pain
I've tried
hypnotherapy
, but it was so difficult for me to relax enough to benefit from the treatment. I suffer from social and generalised anxiety which I've been told is most likely a contributing factor. The whole thing is driving me almost crazy.

Anyone have any luck with this in regards to anxiety, panic disorder and agoraphobia? I imagine if you did you wouldn't be on here.

Post-surgery, TLE...
Hi I'm new to the app just a day. I was diagnosed with epilepsy around 8+ years ago now, tonic-clonic seizures. I wound up having seizures around every few weeks/month+ I guess, and meds wound up stretching them farther apart. Apparently I wound up with "several seizures in a row" during my seizure

IBS hypnotherapy
My partner has been suffering from IBS for 3/4 years. She has had every test known to humanity and tried various diets including FODMAP. But the problem remains and is extremely distressing and spoiling her life. She is seeking to try hypnosis as a last resort. Does anyone have any advice or recommendations

why can't doctors listen
This gastroenterologist hadn't heard of Michael Mahoney and his excellent track record using
hypnotherapy
to treat stress-related IBS, so was not in a good position to judge the fact that using his tapes hadn't made a whit of difference to my IBS, but she decided - perhaps because I looked stressed to

CBT/Hypno book recommendation please
I have looked into
hypnotherapy
but cannot afford it. Does anyone know of a good book/online course which is helpful (I think I could get CBT on NHS but this requires a weekly committment to be somewhere at a certain time - which would cause me even more stress at the moment!)

Anxiety with IBS
The thing is I've tried
hypnotherapy
, tapping technique and I'm still so worried about going out. It's upset holiday plans. I can't fly and can't go on trains and car journeys are a nightmare worrying if I'm stuck in traffic and need the toilet.

Endo & Depression
I also have had
hypnotherapy
which has helped a lot but my depression seems to be hormonal rather than there actually being an outside issue causing the depression. I have walked my dog today and I have been out but do not want to get out of bed now.

Core exercise and pain
I am currently waiting for a diagnostic laparoscopy (10 days to go) to see if I have endo. Today i noticed something weird. During a hydrotherapy session for back pain I did a lot of core exercise. Like an hour of core work. Since then my core is hurting but also I'm getting pain in my abdomen like

Nothing helps! Getting longer, more intense and frequent!
I'm suffering with anxiety and sleeplessness half of every week and sleeping all day every day with depression the rest of the week. It's resulted in a series of excessive and embarrassing self-soothing behaviors that I can stop. I no longer can stop humming, rocking, clenching hands and teeth, gripping

Hi everyone🙋🏻 I've just found out 3 weeks ago I have ADD at the age of 45 and so as you can imagine its in a sense a relief to realize why I struggled all my life and hid my behaviors, overcompensating rants to show I'm not stupid and what can look like rudeness laziness unsocial behaviors, why learning

My anxiety story
Hi everyone! I want to share my story with you all and maybe get some advice. Since I was a kid I´ve always struggled with my self confidence. I would always get extremely nervous before an exam or the first day at school. I used to had nausea when I got nervous. Anyways I never realised that I had
