my first hypnotherapy session
Well it is too early to say if
hypnotherapy
will have a long-term improvement but it certainly got me buzzing around - I went to sainsburys alone and in argos, boots (shock horror on the first floor) and tesco with the OH and toddler and was fine - hope that continues :) I've booked a concert in December

bring on the hypno :)
So finally going to
hypnotherapy
tommorow after a false start a few weeks ago, trying to be hopeful as there are no guarentees - I'll let everyone know how it goes, feeling kinda nervous - it would be good to be able to get rid of my emetophobia after 20 years, the primary source of my anxiety (I think

Stressful couple of week
I have a stressful couple of weeks coming up. Fortunately I am going on hols on 22nd so should be looking forward to that but right now that seems miles away. Over the next 2-3 weeks I find out if works health insurance will award me medical retirement or not. If not I'll be expected to resume work

OW OW OW! and this time I can't blame fibro
There is a something up there with a very perverse sense of humour! For the past couple of months I have been extremely good and have been religiously doing my exercises to strengthen the muscles that support my spine and been to several hydrotherapy sessions. I could feel everything was getting stronger

Anxiety at work
I have just started
hypnotherapy
to try and help with the anxiety and build up my confidence. I wondered if anyone else finds it challenging talking in a group whilst suffering with anxiety and panic attacks? Thanks, Louise

Falling apart again
After all this time of GP's and some counselling and some clinical
hypnotherapy
, only now did I get a diagnosis of social anxiety and that after a half hour assessment over the phone in order to get CBT. I am so stupid.

has anyone else got psoriatic arthritis as well as fibromyalgia?
As well as the fms I also have psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. Is anyone else being bumped between the Rhuematologist and Dermatologist. Rhuemo wants now to go down physio, hydrotherapy, acupuncture and pain management. Dermo says now Psoriasis is under control the Psoriatic arthritis is down to

Social Anxiety and Work
I had 11 sessions of Clinical
Hypnotherapy
and some counselling. Neither were as helpful as I had hoped/dreamed. I tried to engage and take it on board, but I don't know, maybe I was unclear in what I said.

Quick update
Hi y'all, Realised it's been a while since I posted on here so here's a quick update on how things are going. Have now finished my OT appointments and am in a much better place mentally thanks to a very understanding OT with a comprehensive knowledge of fibro! Was beginning to think nobody at the hospital

First post
Before you ask I see CBT therapist who also does
hypnotherapy
with me and I take 10mg a day of escitalopram. Please don't get me wrong, this is a very unlike me day which I guess is why i feel so down! I just have one question....when will this all end?

how I squeeze physio into my daily routine!!!
As I'm sure we all lead busy lives Ithpught I'd share how I manage to squeeze what I believe to be a manageable amount of physio into my daily routine, as it is just as important to keep up with physio in adulthood as it is when we are younger. I tend to start the day with a good stretch out once
