Hi there, I did! We had a really good turn out for our IVF after the surgery, got 7 blastocysts all top grade except for 2 if memory serves, and very grateful now to finally be a mama too ❤️❤️

Best of luck 🤞 I’ve got a few posts with loads of comments for advice on the surgery if you need it or message me ❤️

Thx so much. Was your amh affected after surgery at all and did you have both tubes completely removed ?

I only had one AMH done and it was after the surgery I can’t remember what it was but definitely within normal range, and yes I had them both removed

Have you discussed your concerns about ovarian reserve with your consultant/clinic ? It may help reassure you

Take care

Hi, I have bilateral hydrosalpinges (found after a hysteroscopy and a laparascopy) and at my fertility appointment today the doctor said that if they could see it via a transvaginal ultrasound then they would definitely recommend removing it beforehand because of all the risks involved but given how swollen the tubes were and the pain it was causing me - if I wanted to get my tubes removed because of the issues - even if they couldn't see it on the ultrasound - she didn't think it was a bad idea - overall as long as it is safe for them to remove it - I can go ahead and get it done - it would probably be beneficial in the long run.

Saying that I didn't have a conversation with her about egg reserves but from what I've read it shouldn't have an impact?

Hi Vivibeatris. I have hydrosalpinx on both tubes. My amh is very low - 2.3. I am 36 years old and have endo.

Sadly our first round of IVF failed last December. I am speaking with clinics I'm Prague and Spain at the moment. The clinic in Prague suggested I have the stimulation drugs (theyve suggested dual stimulation due to my low amh) and have egg retrieval. Then they want me to get both tubes removed. It all seems so final and takes away any chance of it ever happening naturally - I know that is such a long shot with what's going on with me anyway. I am completely torn. I see you posted 2 months ago, did you get the tubes removed? Does it take long to recover?

Not what you're looking for?
