Endosure test

Hi all, I have booked to have an endosure test done next week in London, I'm a little apprehensive and just wanted to know if anyone else has used this before ? I have not yet been diagnosed with endometriosis but my symptoms pretty much match up with everything that is listed for it, I am struggling with it badly in every day life/ work etc and just want to know why.

I have emergency laparoscopy surgery in october to remove a hydrosalpinx, they never mentioned endo and I was never offered a follow up, I also had another laparoscopy in 2021 which was a ruptured ovarian cyst, again no mention of endo, it seems like it's getting worse as the years go on but no diagnosis makes it difficult when your having time off work etc.

The only definitive way to diagnose endometriosis is by a laparoscopy - an operation in which a camera (a laparoscope) is inserted into the pelvis via a small cut near the navel.

Scans, blood tests and internal examinations are not a conclusive way to diagnose endometriosis and a normal scan, blood test and internal examination does not mean that you do not have endometriosis.

So if you needed to be sure, I'd suggest contacting your doctor and consider using the endometriosis-uk.org/sympto...

having just had a laparoscopy that showed bowel adhesions and old endometriosis scarring but consultant wouldn’t say if I had endometriosis which is strange. 🤷🏽‍♀️
