laparoscopy required for ivf clinic in Spain

Hi everyone, I have been asked to get a laparoscopy to check for a hydrosalpinx and have it sorted before a clinic in Spain can get us approved for the guarantee program. I have had an ultrasound done in the UK for my previous donor egg cycles and at few times the clinician thought I might have a hydrosalpinx. I had submitted these scans to the Spanish clinic and they have now asked that I get a laparoscopy. This is quite a huge ask as I’ve had an ultrasound sound done afterwards with a reputable doctor and he has told me that i don’t have it. I wanted to check if anyone has gone ahead and had a laparoscopy to get on a guaranteed program and what were the results?

Hi lovely can you not just have a hycosy it’s a tube check for 450 don’t no if that will work out quicker and cheaper for you ask your clinic would they be happy with that good luck with your treatment lovely

Hey, I hope you are keeping well. I had a laproscopy 1 month ago to remove both my fallopian tubes due to hydrosalpinx. I found out 2 years ago that I had hydrosalpinx through a pelvic mri. We had 1 round of ivf here in Northern Ireland and then we explored abroad. We are with a clinic in Alicante now and they wouldn't do embryo transfer unless the hydrosalpinx was removed. We are taking a break from everything ivf related at the moment so that I can recover and then will get back to it in a few months time xxx
