Hi all, our first FET is on Monday, following our scan showing my lining at 8.6. Excited and nervous to say the least, today I start cyclogest pessaries x2 a day. We are transferring 1 pgt tested 5BC embryo. Prior to booking our FET, i underwent a unilateral salpingectomy to remove 1 fallopian tube due to hydrosalpinx. It's been a lot, but trying to do everything we can in hope of a successful pregnancy. I have noticed thatI have been so stressed the last week thinking of everything going wrong, and over work (new job) that I have actually now stepped away, I was worried the stress having a negative impact on implantation.
I just wanted to reach out to you all and say good luck to you going through treatment Xxx

It's huge that you've had the salpingectomy to help things along, and starting those Cyclogest pessaries is a big step. I'm sure it wasn't easy to step back from work, but it's really smart of you to prioritize your well-being. I'm sending you all my best wishes for Monday - fingers crossed everything goes perfectly!
I had unexplained infertility for years, having given up on the thought of having my own family 10years ago, I'm now 41 btw, it was only when I met my current partner a few years ago we found it was something we both really wanted so started IVF last year. To find out the hydrosalpinx may have been the main cause was both fantastic news, but also an, I wish we had found this earlier scenario. I was fortunate enough to be able to go private and sorted prior to our FET so we know we have done everything within our power that we can. Fingers and toes crossed xx
Thank you! You are right, it is tough.I know it's the right decision deep down, I'm being hard on myself for feeling like I'm letting others down and being selfish. It's alot easier said than done putting yourself first. It's quite alien to me lol. I'm trying to relax now but feel half my stress has lifted almost immediately xx
