Itchy red spots on forearms? I have been given different names for the rash by all my doctors
Mine are very red an splotchy, usually are flat but sometimes are slightly raised. When mine start to heal after about three weeks the pigment turns brown, scaly.and still itches. A skin doctor said we lack vitamin C from avoiding the sun. and to always wear sunscreen and hydrocortisone plus moisturizers

Baker Cyst. Anyone had a scan for this?
Hi, I have been told by the rheumy nurse when I asked to have one that .. "they don't tell us much" but I said they tell us more than not looking. I wasn't rude but I was fobbed off. Told it is only when there is preparation for surgery for knee replacement they can. I am not happy as this is cyst

She has been on pred for the last 2 yrs or so and it's been used to control her brittle asthma as well as keep her adrenal problems at bay. Info please: wondering about my "tissue bleeds"
I guess there are other names for these haemorrhages deep under the skin. Mine aren't like what's called "blood blisters" cause mine are deeper in my soft tissues. I get these mainly in my hands & feet. Maybe 1 every 3 weeks or so, but lately more like 1 per week. They come on without any "friction

Tarceva/Erlotinib side effect
Good morning all My husband, Brian, is not coping well with the rash, finds it very irritating and is having problems sleeping. He is using the steroid cream but that does not seem to help. I shall be contacting his LCNS tomorrow but wondered whether any one here can help. Thank you.

Insect bites continued
Hairbear posted a few weeks ago regarding insect bites and I know some others have had problems during the summer. I came across additional information and post it below. At the bottom are quite a few reference papers listed on this subject for anyone's further research. ..........................

Itching!!!
Just wondering if this happens to anyone else? I have a very allergic component to my asthma as well as pretty bad hayfever which triggers asthma and also awful eczema. The eczema hasn't been too bad over the past few months - a few patches of it, soon going with hydrocortisone cream. But not been able

Not sure what's worse....
Well after 4 days of battling with vile antibiotics, took Hugo back to the doctor as he wasn't getting the full dose because he spat it out or got so upset he was sick!! Gp was lovely and gave the banana flavour, plus I asked for the steroid cream which she gave no problems! Advised new antibiotics

Has anyone who has been diagnosed with fibromyalgia found that taking prednisolone or hydrocortisone has taken the pain away?
If the pain does go, does this mean that it wasn't fibromyalgia, and possibly some other condition?

That'll learn me!
So - my asthma has been on the up since I got diagnosed with adrenal crap in March. Today I ... ... thought and tweeted about how chuffed my consultant will be at the difficult asthma clinic in 3 weeks when I tell him I haven't had a proper scary attack since March ... walked the dog this morning

confused about thyroid and adrenal treatment
OK, I feel totally confused now: I was diagnosed, in January 2012, with adrenal fatigue, hypothyroidism (after being on thyroxine for 10 years), low estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, DHEA, pregnenolone, and growth hormone levels. My new doctor switched me from thyroxine (200 mcg daily)
