Thanks to everyone
Firstly, thank you, thank you, to all of those who replied to my question about Pred before tooth extraction, what a wonderful bunch of people you are, once again find myself thanking the gods for this forum. After reading them all , I read the prescription the Dentist has given me and it is indeed for

Small and tight
Phimosis and a very thin 1inch flaccid 5inch erect penis, at the age of 65 I'm not that bothered about size but the tight foreskin is a pain ,after all this time I'm thinking about buying some steroid cream to try and help , can anyone suggest a type/brand to buy or do you know what cream a doctor would

Understanding test results
I have secondary adrenal insufficiency [ long term use of steroids ] I had a test at the beginning of Oct, and haven't heard anything back from the Endo clinic re the results, so I assume my results are ok, I'm not sure if I understand the results, [ I get them on line from the hospital] ]

Rheumatologist thinks I may have GCA
I saw my Rheumatologist today for my regular 3 month checkup. When she asked how my general health is I told her that my TMJ had been acting up and I've been having headaches. It never even dawned on me that those are also symptoms of GCA. But she jumped on that and we discussed testing for it. She ruled

Chronic Hives?
I believe I have Chronic Hives, about 10 years ago a orangey red patch started forming on neck, didn’t think much of it. A couple years later, it started spreading. There was no symptoms at this point other than the visible rash, no itchiness. A couple years later and it has spread across my stomach,

Synacthan test results
I mentioned six weeks ago that my test had been cancelled and some asked me to keep up to date. I had my test last Tuesday and results today say suboptimal endogenous cortisol production. The consultant instructs me to continue taking 5mgs of Pred or 20mgs of Hydrocortisone until he sees me in clinic

Surprised in a bad way.
Thank God I have a leason Nurse batting for me! He called me in to have Cortisol levels checked as I have been steadily lowering my Prednisolone under direction from Ophthalmology, and Steroids shut down the Adrenal system reducing Cortisol levels. Reading posts on this website made me wary when getting

Just another little gift
Thank you so much, PMR for your generous gift of a new health scourge. The ever-growing scaly lesions that have now inhabited my body and spreading all over my chest and now my face. Can't show you photos as they would be X-rated. Dermatologist says it is Nodular Pruritis. Never heard of that one before
