Migraines & Hydrocodone for RLS
The only thing that controls RLS is Hydrocodone ER. I’ve had chronic migraines for the 4.5 of 5 months using it. Now migraine has progressed to #7-8 24/7 Has opiates ever affected your migraine.? I have to go off Hydrocodone ER and the nightmare of severe RLS & sleep deprivation I know I can not handle

RLS and progesterone birth control... trigger?
I was doing really well on 10/325 hydrocodone every night plus 1/2 pill of my .25 mg Requip to keep the RLS at bay. But lately, I have had a series of really bad nights (and then DAYS) when I can’t seem to get relief from my regular meds. The only thing I can think of that is different is that I got

Coconut water
I read a post from a while back on here about a guy that had gotten RLS when he had a nasty case of the flu. He talked about how beneficial coconut water was for his RLS. I was skeptical of course, so I looked it up. Pregnant women use it sometimes for the potassium and everything. Since it’s packed

Article from John-Hopkins regaurding the effects of opiates on RLS
No question, I just wanted to post some of an article regaurding the effects of opiates on RLS (the full text can be found on John Hopkins university website. Dr. Willis (as in Willis-Ekbomb disease / RLS) in his description of this disease in 1685 also reported on the benefits of opiates for treating

The Difficult Question most all of us will face.
Hello All. i wanted to give an update since my last Chemo adventure, and discuss where I am now. If you were following (and if not please look through my posts as you will to get the whole story), I last reported after my 6th Docetaxel session. My PSA was still rising. 3.02 when I started to 6.98 at

Help with Lower Scrotum and Perineum Pain
Hi All, I wanted to document my experience in hopes of getting good insights and helping others with similar pathology. That is, throbbing pain and tightness in the lower scrotum, behind scrotum and perineum area. 3-4 weeks prior to 4/5/2020, I started feeling tightness around my scrotum area. I ignored

Withdrawal from benzo still?
Hi! I'm new here and hope I'm doing this right. I have a question and welcome any and all feedback. I detoxed off of clonazepam and hydrocodone after over a decade of use. I was prescribed both. Clonazepam for GAD and hydrocodone for pain. I have some spinal issues and neuropathy. So here's the deal

Zytiga and stomach pain; pain relief cocktails
Hello, guys. I haven't been on line much, as we've had a rough couple of months. We went to Europe in early January. My husband had some pain, but got through the trip beautifully. A few weeks after getting home, he picked up a produce bag at the grocery store and snapped his upper arm bone. He's since

Eliquis vs. NSAIDs
Ive had AF for many years and am considered “chronic”. I also have arthritis sporting bilateral knee replacements 12 years ago and a hip replacement. I take hydrocodone for pain. I take Eliquis for my anticoagulant and have been advised never to take an NSAID (ibuprofen, aspirin, etc.), which is what

My Story
PSA...Be careful what you put in your body ! I had found something that gave me energy and was legal. Kratom was sold at any corner store. I was taking this at least 3-4 times a week. Little did I know it was working against my liver. Fastforward, I had a tooth pulled so I was prescribed hydrocodone

Acid Reflux and pain medication
I have severe acid reflux and am on hydrocodone for pain ( different pains). My question is does this pain medication make the acid reflux worse or is it my imagination?

I used to have a strong healthy heart
Although I'm 72 years old, I do have recent EKG's and CT scans that show a normal size heart that had normal sinus rhythm with no issues. I also have no cholesterol issues. My arteries were clear. I kept myself in great physical shape by practicing bodybuilding and performing physical labor most of
