Excruciatingly intolerable painful periods post-delivery. Any help would be appreciated!?
Hi, I gave birth 7 months back and my first period after delivery was normal. But starting from second month the period pains are a 100 times worse than labor pains, excruciatingly painful so much so that I end up going to the hospital emergency room every month for the last 6 months. Went to hospital

POST NASAL DRIP - what is it ?
Every day, glands in the lining of your nose, throat, airways, stomach, and intestinal tract produce about 1 to 2 quarts of mucus -- a thick, wet substance that moistens these areas and helps trap and destroy foreign invaders like bacteria and viruses before they can get into your body and cause infection

Sleeping more and more
Hello all. I have Fibro. Chronic pain and chronic fatigue. Over the past few months i have noticed that my fatigue has gotten worse. I will wake up after sleeping a good six to eight hour, depending on if i wake up due to body aches and have to take a pain pill. Once the pain medication takes effect

Aspirin and Tylenol with prednisone?
Any problem with using enteric coated aspirin and/or Tylenol for pain while on 5mg. prednisone? I have hydrocodone but prefer non- narcotic pain relief if possible.

Guaifenesin?
Hi Everyone, Has anyone used Guaifenesin to treat the symptoms of Fibromyalgia and how have you got on with it, has it helped? My Naturopath suggested it as it's supposed to help rid excess phosphate from the body.

Hydrocodone Caugh Medicine.
I came down with a bad sinus infection and was given caugh medicine with Hydrocodone. I usually take .25mg of Mirapex with 75% success. During this time of taking the caugh medicine I never had one episode of RLS and did not take the Mirapex at any point for two weeks. Does anyone use Hydrocodone for

Dopamine / Narcotic Use..also falling asleep too early
Some of you have told me that you take your dopamine drugs early in the evening so you can sit through a movie, a dinner, a car ride..but you get so drowsy so you sleep by 8pm and than wake back up at 11am with either RLS or Insomnia.. My question is What can be done to keep someone sleeping all night

Still doing well on Guaifenesin.
Hi everybody, just to update you on how I am doing on the Guaifenesin which I started in September last year. I have only rarely needed Amitriptyline and in fact can't even remember when I last used it. I had a recent drawback when my dentist recommended a toothpaste which he said had no mint in but

Beating Down Chemo's Ill Effects
Are you feeling like you don’t know what to do first … throw up, fall over from sheer exhaustion, or pinch yourself to make sure the hands and feet you can’t feel are still there? I know, not funny. Unfortunately, chemo isn’t as discriminatory as we’d like; the drugs kill the good cells but are rough

Medications and food to avoid, applies to most of us who has RLS. This is taken from the www.rlshelp.org website..
Drugs and Foods to avoid to improve RLS This section will discuss various drugs and foods that may worsen RLS. Things that cause worsening of RLS in some patients may not bother others in the same way; in fact, others may even be helped by these same medications or foods that worsen others. Please

Pain meds?
Is anyone on pain meds? My husband takes hydrocodone. He has had shoulder replacement on both shoulders (which I wouldn't recommend to anyone) and 5 surgeries on his left foot. So he is always in pain. He also takes Gabapentin. I worry about all these meds and their effect on his PD

How to stop coughing
Hello all, I urgently need to stop coughing! I'm about to start a new job, and I don't want to look sick. A week ago I finished a week of Ammoxicillin (+pred) for a nasty chest infection. I'm still coughing a lot, but I don't think enough to warrant breaking into my emergency co-amoxiclav (Augmentin
