Hi
I'm so sorry you are struggling. Ask your Dr to refer you for an MRI , that's how I was diagnosed with degeneration of the facet joint. Take care Lynne
Yes the er I went too don’t do mri they don’t have a machine for it so imma ask my gp doctor and go
Perhaps you need an MRI scan to find out what the issue is.
I have several spinal & other joint & muscle injuries. I have just invested in a larger infrared lamp, though the small one I’ve used for years (under £20/$20) was very beneficial, & helped more than medication alone. I also use Acupuncture regularly & acupressure daily as well as yoga & Pilates stretches. There are lots of Qi Gong videos available online with gentle movements that may help keep you moving with less pain.
Thank u for ur response I’m going to look into that lamp today see if amazon has one
Have you actually read the CT scan report or seen the images? People are finding that when they do a Subject Access Request for their imaging reports and scans, they find that the information in the reports written by the radiologists aren't always passed on to the patients or their GPs. I had a hand x-ray 7 years ago that my GP was told 'nothing wrong' however when I got it recently it was clear that there were already osteophytes forming and a large lucency in one of my carpels (which has got bigger).
Having said that, do underestimate how painful a muscle spasm can be. It might be that, and something like a visit to an osteopath might sort it out. Or at the very least see a physio.
I can’t believe you’re taking 10mg Hydrocodone and not getting any relief of pain. I couldn’t tolerate that medicine due to severe side effects. A 5 mg tablet put me to sleep. We all respond differently to medications. I believe what you’re saying.
My concern though, it is very very constipating. Are you able to have good bowel movements every day? If not, it could be a bowel problem?
The acitaminophen is NOT good for your platelets. Be careful.
I agree, imaging needs to be done. You need an MRI for sure.
Can you describe the pain. Do you feel electrocuted? Do feel a burning sensation?
Does it feel like you are being pricked? Does the pain radiate from your lower right back to anywhere else? Can you sleep?
Could a physiotherapist help you find out what’s wrong? Have you been to see a PT yet? It was a PT who knew which nerve was causing my acute pain. Good luck.
Hey yes the pain feels like a knife being stabbed n my side and it takes my breath away I been on hydrocodone for a year or two so body is used too it and yes I poo everyday 3 or four times so no problem there in less it’s ibs then that’s a whole other issue my hone health nurse came I showed her the problem and she said it’s probably a muscle spasms so I’m taking the hydrocodone n flexilarel (not sure of spelling) and The pain did go down a lil but I have to stay on top of it thank u for reply btw
Look up hip labral tear on the Net. Do you ever feel your hip clicking or giving way?
I think you should see a PT if only once for feedback. They know the anatomy of the hip. Perhaps find one that specializes in hips.
Glad I could help. You’re welcome.
