PSA...Be careful what you put in your body ! I had found something that gave me energy and was legal. Kratom was sold at any corner store. I was taking this at least 3-4 times a week. Little did I know it was working against my liver. Fastforward, I had a tooth pulled so I was prescribed hydrocodone before they pulled it and after. I felt fine. Suddenly I began to feel bad. I couldn't explain the feeling , it was just bad. So bad, I can't tell you how I drove from Texas to Louisiana . I don't remember much after that. I woke up from 4 being in a coma for 5 days. The ICU doctor said he didn't think I would make it. The almost daily consumption of Kratom and pain pills made my liver nearly shut down. But GOD !!! He spared my life ! I was in the hospital for almost a month. During this time my skin began to shed on my whole body. I was scaly. My hair fell out. I didn't ask the doctor but I'm thinking at some point I was suffering from malnutrition- I really wasn't eating. I'm home now but I have to have help doing the simple things. It's getting better day by day. I'm regaining my strength.
