Do PPIs affect absorption of thyroid meds?
Hi, quick question - I've got acute gastritis at the moment. I'm taking 15mg lansoprazole. I also take Armour. I'm worried the lansoprazole is going to affect how my Armour is absorbed. Has anyone had this problem? GP told me to take them at different times of day, but I hardly think that will help

Immediately following diarrhea cessation was abnormal bulky high volume stools. A few times a day for first

Peace of Mind
Over the past several months I've not been quite as active on the forum. This has been because I've been busy attending a host of appointments with different medical professionals, ranging from the practise nurse to various consultants, all in order to discover the cause of some uncomfortable and worrying

bile reflux
I thought I would bring you all up to speed on my endoscopy yesterday ( Friday 15 March ). I have to say I was surprised by the results, I have Bile reflux, something I didn’t even know existed. It was a bit of a shock if I am honet. So me being me , I read up about it when I got home, as most things

Wondering if iron dose age should vary depending on weight please?
Hi I usually take Ferrous fumerate to help with iron levels. I’m wondering if this should vary depending on weight please as when I was ordering Three Arrows which is on its way, it asks for weight to work out a daily dose. Mine came to needing between 20 and 40ish a day. I’ve been & until it arrives

Retzius Sparing surgeon recommendations
Hello everyone. I’m 49 years old. I was diagnosed with PCa in 2018. It was determined Gleason 3+3 after biopsy, so we decided on Active Surveillance. I checked PSA religiously every 6 months and it hovered around 5 the whole time since the diagnosis. Last year during summer I believe I started experiencing

Add Nubeqa to Orgovyx?
Age 81. I had prostate radiation in 2021, and pelvic node radiation in 2023. PSA was 3.78 in Dec 2023. PSMA PET then showed cancer growing in prostate, shrinking in pelvic node, but spread to an abdominal node. I have started ADT with Orgovyx (relugolix) and want to add an ARI. The urologist wants

MRI Results Help Please!
Hope everyone is doing well. I got my MRI results today and was looking for help with some of the jargon please. I know there is a lady who is very good with the medical terminology. Googled serosal disease and that didn't sound good. Dr told me it's significant endo, adeno, bowl stuck to ovaries. But
