Still Trying To Find A T3 Sympathetic Endo
Hi guys, I am still trying to access an Endo who is open to prescribing T3. I think my doctor may be persuaded to let me have it if I can prove a clinical need. I have the Thyroid UK list form Louise and note that most of the specialists are in London, which I don’t mind. Could anyone please PM me if

But this is the highest it’s been. Gt 245 and ALT 100. First thing gp asked was alcohol. I rarely drink. Had a bit more at Xmas but

Hashi's Flare Up? Under medicated ?
Diagnosed Hypo in 1981, Dr P told me in 1995 I couldn't convert T4 to T3 so since then have only taken T3. A long and tortuous journey, discovered Hashimoto's in January 2017 via private blood test... thyroglobulin raised. Since August 2017 have been desperately trying to get my vitamins, minerals,

Waiting...
I just had a meeting with HR due to my level of anxiety the last couple of weeks. I was going through an extremely situation related to my family. I nearly had a breakdown and I should have asked for some time off looking back, but I literally had no support from family and I did not reach out to many

Living with bowel endo!
I just wanted to find out how others deal with the day to day management of bowel endo. I have stage 4 endo which affects my sigmoid colon. I have had a sigmoidoscopy and biopsy done which confirm this (and thankfully rules out any other causes) and two laparoscopies one in 2014 and one in October this

GPs refusing steroid injections
Hi, my husband has had RA for around 10 years. After a few years of severe symptoms, it's now generally under control with Sulfasalazine, with occassional flare ups every year/two years. His rheumatologist is in London where we used to live, 2 hours away. The care is excellent and he's happy to travel

Hypnotherapy
Has anyone tried hypnotherapy or
homeopathy
for RLS. I did years ago but with no effect. I also read that antihistamine makes it worse. I do take one for itchy skin. GP advised me to buy an over counter sleeping pill and that contains antihistamine.

Homeopathy
I am wondering, do you take anything natural or use any sort of
homeopathy
for your symptoms of kidney disease/ failure? For example, I use baking soda to help keep my sodium bicarbonate levels normal.
