Guys I think I figured out where my anxiety originated from. I believe I took advantage of life when it was good and didn't appreciate the good in life and joyment I felt. Alot of traumatic events happened to me since november of last year. My fiance and I split up. I found out he was cheating for awhile

Caeylx after splenectomy ?
Hi Lovely forum friends. Hope you are all as well as you can be at this moment in time. I've a question please, I'm heading for 2nd line treatment of caelyx ( due to plat resistance and not getting into clinical trial is hoped for ) But I've read that it's not recommended if you've had your spleen

Rhummy plan in tatters! Update GCA
Well according to the master plan I should be on 10mg starting today. No way is this achievable after hitting the nlggling pain buffers at 15mg never mind the planned 12.5mg 4 weeks ago. Back to 20 /17.5mg & the jaw & head are settling down. Still have burning shoulders, stiff neck & buffalo hump though

Bedwetting 7 year old
Hi, I’m hoping for some advice about bed wetting. My 7 year old son is wet every night. We’ve never worried about it before as it’s only really in the last year he’s stopped having accidents during the day. He doesn’t seem to get much notice still! However, night is our next challenge. He is such a deep

Lance Adams Syndrome..
Hi Everyone, I've been reading a lot of posts on the site for a while, but haven't yet posted. My 33 year old partner had a cardiac arrest back in April, with approx. 25 minutes down time. He was in a coma for a couple of weeks and had slowly regained consciousness. He's now at a rehabilitation centre

Article i found on loneliness and isolation.
I found this article online and i found it so useful. Being chronically ill is one of the most isolating experiences I’ve ever had. I feel alone in this battle constantly. I’ve heard chronic illness equated to falling down the rabbit hole before, which I feel is an apt description. It turns your world

If you've ever...you may have PMR
I was on a two hour drive back from my Rheumatologist's office yesterday and I amused myself by thinking about some of the crazier aspects of having PMR (Jeff Foxworthy style to the Americans in the forum). I came up with a few personal examples and hope some of you will add a few more:) If you've

8 days old and discomfort after feeding
Hi there, I am a first time mum to an 8 day old baby. He has started getting very uncomfortable after feeding, constantly has the hiccups for two days, and today even cried and pumped his legs during feeding. He is breastfed and took to it brilliantly - the midwife thinks the position, latch etc is good

Ended up off work again.. any tips on explaining to management?
Hello everyone again, I ended up off work again this week, which means I am going to be in a lot of trouble when I go back in tomorrow (still not 100% so actually debating it, but feel like a failure when I let endo control my life). I always end up crying and getting emotional when talking to people

Broken spine; broken ribs... encouragement
I am new on this thread... My son is a tree surgeon. Eight days ago, he fell off a crane. The fall was six meters down, landing on his back, where he broke three vertabrae of his spine, and almost all of his ribs. After 'successful' surgery on his spine, he's been in an induced coma these last eight

Need advice. This is probably a normal brain function that I'm over analyzing
So recently my anxiety has convinced me I'm going to lose my mind. Go figure. Throughout the day I will have tons and tons of flashbacks with emotion attached, usually of unpleasant times. Every time this happens I ponder why I felt that over and over thinking something must be wrong with my brain if

Taking Next Steps~
Bit of an update on the ibs/stomach/bowel related issues~ Still ruling things out but he’s definitely certain that’s what I have. But nene the good doc he is, he’s checking everything in case. The last few days have not been good. Had a massive flare up where I couldn’t eat, was curled up in constant

Amazing
This weekend started with a visit to the chiropractor friday afternoon. I hadn't seen him in almost a year. We talked about what has been going on with me and this dizzy, doomy, ill feeling and how it's been effecting my body (abdominal and back muscles). We also discussed what I thought could have
