Hi. As I am newly dx with Hashimoto, I have had many blood tests done. My estrogen as I predicted is non existent. I am 56 menopausal many years and can't take HRT. I do have estrogen cream and suppositories. Is there any natural ways to boost estrogen?

Thyroid and Supplements to help Perimenopause
Hi, I have Hypothyroidism and take Thyroxine and NDT. I have been having symptoms over the last 6-8 months similar to Thyroid which I now believe to be Perimenopause. I started on Collagen which has helped with joint pain and saw a GP last week who suggested Black Cohosh and Red Clover to see how

BioTE
has anyone heard of BioTE? It is a bioidentical hormone replacement pellet that is supposed to help with osteoporosis and other health issues. Has anyone tried it? What are your thoughts or did it work for you? Unfortunately it is not covered under insurance. They insert the pellets in your hip

Mitral valve replacement
Hi all, I’m due to have replacement surgery next week, and still somewhat undecided about whether to go biological or mechanical. I’m 55 and quite fit and active, with no outward symptoms. My surgeon has left the choice to me…my biggest stress is longevity. I’ve been told that if I opt for the biological

Microgynon 30 for stopping periods?
I recently had a referral to query endometriosis. I've always had pretty bad cramps with my period, resulting in fainting, vomiting or both. Since my teens I managed it with ibrupofen, which doesn't completely stop the cramps but was at least allowing me to be functional and not faint etc. I also

Update on my T3 journey !
Hi lovely people in my phone. Firstly i'd like to thank you all for help in previous posts, it made me brave enough to search out rather than sit and wonder if help would come. I had the Mri as requested by the endo ( it shows some degeneration etc, but by his own admission he knows little about

What a difference time has made on thinking on thyroid function diagnosis
This 2014 article was the concerted work of many major influencers in thyroidology and treatment. Comparing the one here with 2021/2 discussions, it is educational to see how far their original stance has been subtly changed over the 7-8 year period. I'm showing it to contrast ways of thinking then

Low T and bone growth
I’ve been on bicalutamide mono therapy Lupron vacation for 10 months. PSA remains <0.01 but T isn’t rising above 120. Presumably the PC in my SV remains senescent. My concern is if I get a dental implants and/or a knee replacement will my bones heal with the low T level? Thoughts? Experiences? Thanks

Previously I had been on 175 levo. The first few days were fine but since then I literally cannot quench my thirst. I was also prescribed
