has anyone heard of BioTE? It is a bioidentical hormone replacement pellet that is supposed to help with osteoporosis and other health issues. Has anyone tried it? What are your thoughts or did it work for you? Unfortunately it is not covered under insurance. They insert the pellets in your hip/back area every three months but do bloodwork first to see what your hormone levels are and then calculate the amount that should be used. Your blood is checked about 6 weeks after the pellets are inserted and then adjustments are made if necessary and your are asked how your are doing since receiving them.
i have one more doctor to see tomorrow but so far this option sounds better to me. Wait and see what the next doctor says.
