Veggie curry with black rice, (vegan)
Hi folks, Black rice is more nutritious then brown or red rice as it contains anthocyanin and vitamin E and I have been experimenting with it and really like it. I have been making black rice puddings with it and that looks weird as well. (Anthocyanin is anti inflammatory and is what gives it its colour

Canine toe nail Selenium? U-shaped PCa risk.
New study below [1]. Odd that the dog (man's best friend) is the only other species (I believe) that naturally develops PCa. Stop giving them table scraps! LOL "Our discovery of a U-shaped dose-response between toenail selenium concentration and prostatic DNA damage in dogs remarkably parallels data

This gut/brain axis paper offers food therapies
Section 5.1. discusses food intervention. It’s a long paper and while much of it is above my pay grade, I thought it a good paper and more heavily referenced than any other I’ve read. It doesn’t talk about lectins, but Dr. Grundy does. http://gundrymd.com/reduce-lectins-diet/ I’ve read his book, The

Rejection and inflammation
Just want a little bit of reassurance, our daughter is two months post transplant and currently receiving steroids for rejection, however this time the consultant said there was inflammation there too that could be caused by a virus. I'm just really worried even though her ALTs are coming down now as

Anyone use MSM supplements?
A recent thyroid book I read suggested that it was a supplement worth considering. “The complete thyroid health and diet guide” They also recommend taurine, calcium d-glucarate and milk thistle. All the other items on their lists I know more about and these are recommended more widely. Any feedback

Hi everyone- I've never posted here before but I have been reading your posts daily since I was told by my doctor that I likely had endo. Consultation with a Private Doctor
I am 61 and have ET. I was on 2x500mg Hydroxy plus 75mg Aspirin. I stopped taking it in September. In December I went to see a private doctor in Harley Street, not a haematologist. She did some blood tests, the results of which may be of interest to others, although they relate to me. It may save

Sister has recently been told she has autoimmune hepatitis
My older sister(41)was told in October that she had autoimmune hepatitis since then say has been really ill, lungs collapsed twice because of the fluid that can’t go to her liver so goes else where. Since October she has been at home for a week but has now been put on the liver transplant list. I joined

I'M NEW HERE!
Hi everyone my name is Cara and have decided to embark on an 8 week course of treatment to rid this virus from my system so I can have the life nature intended. I have been infected for 18 years. Combination of δ-Tocotrienol and γ-Tocopherol on PCa.
New cell study. Almost all vitamin E PCa studies are rubbish, unfortunately. Vitamin E consists of 8 compounds - 4 tocopherols & 4 tocotrienols - alpha, beta, gamma & delta. They are never found together in nature. There is no such thing as "balanced" vitamin E, with a little bit of everything, & such
