My "Osteoporosis" Journey
This is just copy and paste of an account I wrote to keep track of things for myself. Please note I have no medical training and I haven't checked to see if the web links at the end still work. I think most will. Adding June 2024: Importance of Vitamin C in collagen formation. Here is an article which

Auto-immune Hepatitis and Mercaptopurine
Hi I was diagnosed with SLE and APS about 25 years ago. Last year I was also diagnosed with Auto-immune Hepatitis. I was told this is very rare in people with Lupus. Does anyone else have it too? Initially I was treated with high dose steroids. This improved the liver function tests a bit but to reduce

Hello 😁 Here is my most recent blood test from blue horizon. I have been gluten free for the last six months and I’ve worked on increasing my supplements. This shows my T4 at just over range what does this mean? TSH almost suppressed which is how I have always needed it to be to feel well. My

Thin lining success?
Hi everyone, I have been with the fertility clinic for a year now and ttc for 2 years. I initially had issues with ovulation and irregular cycles. Thankfully these both appear to have been corrected. Since September I have had 3 cycles of Menopur injections and three cycles of vitamin E and pentoxifylline

Hi everyone,
Hi everyone, great to find this supportive and informative forum! I'm starting Maviret in 2 weeks time. Could be up to 16 weeks as I have type 3a and have had treatment before. (Although I'm hoping for the 8 treatment). I'm waiting to find out if I'll be taking riberveron too. I've had the virus for

Xeljanx XR and Hep C
After failing quite a few biologics, my Rheumy is starting me on Xeljanz XR. I have not received the shingles (not live) vaccination yet so keeping my fingers crossed that I don't get them. My biggest concern is that is can reactivate Hep C ... has anyone taken Xeljanz and had it reactive it? Kind

Struggling with thin lining - anyone tried G-CSF?
Hi, i’m new to posting and was wondering if anyone has had success with something called a G-CSF uterine transfusion? If so what was it like and is it something any IVF clinic can offer? We’ve now had two fresh unsuccessful ICSI cycles & one abandoned frozen cycle. We’ve tried estrogen patches, vaginal

Am I being thick? ANA
Brain fog aside, am I being thick? Managed to get my full set of blood test results off GP today to send to rheumy. Is ANA generally reported as ‘ANA’ or does it come under something else? I’m sure GP told me I was ANA negative in January but I can’t see anything on my test results. X

Liver biopsy and no answers!
Sorry I have not replied back to anyone but I have been having a pity party. All the anxiety and being so upset and afraid over the dam biopsy, I finally find the courage to go thinking I will finally have my answer. NOTHING....a big fat nothing. My biopsy only showed some abnormalities, nothing diagnostic
