Night sweats
Since having open heart surgery nearly three years ago, my husband has night sweats. They happen regularly but not all the time, if that makes sense. I can usually tell the nights he is going to have them because he either feels incredibly cold on the day/evening before or more tired than normal.

Post cryoablation
I had my ablation on Friday 16th Dec 2022.Everything went fine but I was on the operating table for about 5 hours. I have a narrowing in my oesophagus so access was difficult. Anyway I had bad chest pains on the Monday night so went to A&E where I had blood tests which found I had a rising Cardiac Troponin

useful video from ‘my hero’ on atrial fibrillation and the different treatment methods used and when (including surgery)
an interview with steven hunter, cardio thoracic surgeon . I am now 8 months post surgery and still in NSR, hoping to follow in the shoes of the other once persistent mr Hunter patients on here who have been afib free for a long time. I wanted to share for those in persistent who don’t want to manage

Mandatory 4 days in office and heart condition
Hi All, I had a triple heart bypass 5 years ago (aged 45). Aside from fatigue from taking the various heart meds I'm doing ok (touch wood). Our company has just sent out an email informing everyone has to come into the office 4 days a week and its a mandatory requirement. I'm currently working from

Heart Monitor results
No other

concerns. Echo shows
heart
is healthy. My doctor had a nurse call me and want to add flecainide to my drugs due to heart monitor results. I’m confused because I’ve only had 2 Afib episodes and none in 3 weeks.

New Here — Most Recent Arrhythmia
Hi, all — I initially posted this to the Afib Forum but just found this group, which seems more appropriate. I was experiencing episodes of tachycardia sometimes lasting up to a half hour or so. Being a non-cardiologist, my first thought was Afib and, indeed, that’s what my Apple Watch said. I ended

Apprehensive
I have had Furosemide added to my prescription due to fluid retention in my feet and ankles, due to mild heart failure associated to persistent AF. There are loads of side effects associated with it. GP says we have to monitor kidney function closely as I am stage 3CKD. Just wondered if anyone on here
